  • What a Pub Should Be
Also, people do not understand how amazing natural-cut, perfectly cooked french fries can be. THen, top that with cheese and bacon, or gravy...you gotta be kiddin me.
Fries are sometimes the best part of the meal, but as the only dish on your menu?

My foods' only purpose is to coat the lining of your stomach so that you don't die of awesomeness. Or alcohol poisoning. They're easy, delicious, and stopping to eat a plate of them doesn't screw up your night.

Plus, there's entertainment value in watching drunk people dig into a pile of cheese fries by the handful.

Its like watching vultures rip apart a dead raccoon. Drunk people eat with zero self-awareness, and its kinda gross.

One of my favorite drinking memories involves winning a case race, then going out and watching my very drunk friend eat a plate of cheese fries, chicken fingers and ketchup caveman style, then stumble out and pee on the bay window in front of the entire dining area.

Sounds like a typical IP Saturday night.

Haha, not anymore, but there was a day.

I put all that behind me when I was made a moderator and they gave me my sword and cape. I take this seriously.

YESS!!!! I finally won one of these drafts!!! YEAH!!!

However, loved all the bars, and I think any one of them could've won.

 :o :o :o

wow -- tied for third. thanks y'all!!

Kudos to everyone --- i agreed with the point that voting (which i didn't get to do) like picking out of a hat...lots of good pubs built.

I too am gonna try and drink all the beers mentioned here -- i've probably only had about 40% of them.

TPs for SO for ringleading. And for the rest of you drunks class competitors.

I'm really sorry again for being M.I.A. this week. I think y'all know that during drafts that's out of the ordinary. Lots of work/family/travel issues this week. again i'm sorry.... but stop by the Rank & File and Moe will pour ya a glass of your favorite drink on the house!

Finally ---- did anyone else tell folks in their non-celticsblog life about this draft? quite a few of my friends got a kick out of it (and i stole one or 2 of their suggestions for our tied for 3rd bar :)
