Random question: has anybody ever been to Leuven, Belgium?
It is, without a doubt, the best drinking scene on Earth. It's home to multiple international universities, bringing (drunk) students from all over Belgium. There are dozens of bars, all rammed into this pristine old-world setting, and they all dump out onto this central square. Bars stay open until the bar-tenders shut them down, meaning the bar scene is vibrant at 4am, and a few places are 24-7. Also, rumor has it that the women over there have casual morals and a thing for American students. (Sadly, further details aren't allowed under CelticsBlog rules... but yeah, it was the best drinking week I've ever had, bar none. We need to organize a field trip.)
Seriously, words don't do it justice. If you can survive for 168 straight hours on booze and kababs, with the occasionally curious European girl thrown in, then it's your kind of town.
