You're like the guy who buys all the land around the Oasis and then turns innocently to the crowd of thirsty people behind him and asks, "Oh, did you guys need something?"I gotta say, personally, that I *hate* watching TV's at bars/pubs. I go to hang out with friends, make jokes, hear music, get drunk.I guess if its a really big game that I have no rooting interest in it's sometimes fun to watch at a bar w/ other folks. But Celtics games? I'd rather hear the announcers (hopefully Tommy/Mike) at home where i can yell, scream, thrwo things, pound the couch, etc.

I tend to agree - I like the intimacy of watching at home with the wife and maybe a couple friends. More than that and I just want everyone to shut up so I can pay attention. On the other hand, though, I had no TV for the Finals this year (just moved) and I had a great time going out to bars in the new town and rooting for the Mavs. Different story if the Cs were playing though.
