Overrated in my opinion.

CB Draft is still a soar subject for me. I request that we don't speak about it until all the beer is selected.

QUESTION: Would anyone else have selected either Guinness or Margaritas if they landed to you?

I don't think they would be a good fit at my establishment though I see each beverages merit.  I like Guiness more than margaritas though.  My only issue is how do you attract the Male patron to purchase a margarita?  I can say I have only ordered a margarita at a restaurant once, and that was on cinco de mayo.

CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I would've taken Guinness. Bar doesn't run without nitrogen infused dry irish stout, even if Guinness isn't the best tasting, most drinkable, or even the more well liked among my target demographic. It is, however, the most iconic.

Also, even though other stouts may be 'better' in terms of taste and drinkability, there is something just undeniably comforting about walking into a bar in a town you don't live in, surrounded by people you may not necessarily know, and still be able to almost always ask for a Guinness.

Guinness and margaritas both bring customers.

I guess it comes down to the question of whether you want to preserve your beer snob integrity, or do you want to be popular and make tons of money?

I think Guinness covers your bases.

It's the Kanye West of beers. Critically adored, commercially viable.

If Guinness is going to be the line in the sand for 'beer snobbery', I get the feeling its gonna get awfully snooty in here.

And extremely well-marketed. Bill Walton was a spokesman last year. Think of all the Guinness T-Shirts, pint glasses, promotional signs/stickers etc that 20-somethings will show up for just to try to steal.

Yep.  In that regard, Guinness is an extremely solid pick up front.
