The Create your own "Pub Experience": Draft Interest Thread

Hello all, as the Lockout looms on, StartOrien, OtartSrien and I are bringing a new idea to celticsblog.  After toying around with the idea we thought a "design your own bar/pub" draft would be pretty fun.





This draft will be entirely for fun and a way to pass the time.  At the end of the draft we will have a pannel assign superlatives for the bars that have been created.


The draft will consist of the following categories

Bar Food  - Pick 1

Live Entertainment - Pick 3 (This can include bands, commedians, etc)

Beer  - Pick 6 (3 Mainstream/3 domestic/craft)

Specialty shots/mixed drinks - Pick 3

Games/activity (Buckhunter, pool, darts) - Pick 1

Bartender (This can be anybody in the world) - Pick 1

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE "PUB EXPERIENCE DRAFT" POST

Here are the categories we'll be drafting:

Beers (6)
However popular or  unpopular as you'd like

Live Entertainment - bands, comedians, etc. - (3)
Must be living, and you are selecting 2011 modern version of entertainers

Specialty shots and/or mix drinks (3)
A type of liquor can be selected but could be redrafted in a mix. For example if rum is selected as a specialty shot, rum & coke could be selected as a specialty mix.
You can specify the brand yourself, but when someone picks a liquor its off the table. So if Captain's is picked you can't select Admiral Nelson's

Games/activity - Buckhunter, pool, darts, etc.- (1)

Bartender (1)

Bouncer (1)
either the bouncer OR the bartender could be a dead and/or fictional character. It is not required to have one though

Here is the draft order for everyday. We will be starting THURSDAY, AUGUST 12TH.  We will not be drafting Saturdays or Sunday cuz it's the freakin' weekend bout to have me some fun

If you can't draft at your allotted time you can:

-PM Rondo your selection
-Request to select at the end of the day. If you'd like this option please let ME know so we can skip your pick to keep things fluid

At the conclusion of the draft each owner will be encouraged to write their own Yelp! like review.

This is where I'd include that let's all be nice and have fun, but looking through the roster I don't think we have much to worry about.

This is a fantastic idea.  I'm very interested, but traveling for work the next couple weeks, so, realistically, can't take part in a draft.  But I hope this gets up and running.  TPs all around.

So, let me get this straight.

For example, someone picks buffalo wings as bar food.  Does that mean that buffalo wings are off the table or can multiple people have the same bar food but possibly have different entertainment, bartenders, etc?
