I don't know. If I were voting my heart just wouldn't be in it. Kinda like how sometimes Randy's wasn't.

Did he help teams more than he hurt them?

Yes. He was a member of the two greatest offenses in NFL history and is the greatest reciever in NFL history if you take Jerry Rice out of the argument.

Yes, he probably should.
Statistically, he's up there with the best (check out pp. 547-549 on this link of records from the NFL: http://static.nfl.com/static/content/public/image/history/pdfs/Records/All_Time_Records_Indiv_2011.pdf
Celtics fan for life.

I think the first ballot part is a legitimate question.  Hall of famer part is not. He belongs. Craziness and all.

I'd be more supportive of Randy getting in than Farve....that's for sure

Does Terell Owens get in? I think he has the 2nd most receiving yards in history, but I'm a firm believer that a major criteria of getting into the HOF is that if your team signed him you wouldn't throw up in your mouth.  Just being good and having good stats alone probably shouldn't get you in. I mean if you personally destroyed teams, quarterbacks, and coaches you probably don't get in right?

I think stats don't lie...he has to get in. There aren't many other ppl with the same ability as we saw out of Moss in his career.

But those stats have to translate to wins...and not just any old wins, but major wins. Like maybe Super Bowls?

When did Randy Moss' presence on a team take a team to way better and bigger things?  Nowhere. His first team and that's it. Every other team did worse than they had previously done, with the exception of the Raiders who were horrid no matter what. He didn't help or hurt them.
