His fake mooning of packer fans qualifies him more so than his stats
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I think stats don't lie...he has to get in. There aren't many other ppl with the same ability as we saw out of Moss in his career.
But those stats have to translate to wins...and not just any old wins, but major wins. Like maybe Super Bowls?

When did Randy Moss' presence on a team take a team to way better and bigger things?  Nowhere. His first team and that's it. Every other team did worse than they had previously done, with the exception of the Raiders who were horrid no matter what. He didn't help or hurt them.

Moss was a key piece to the best offense of all time.  Sure they lost in the superbowl, but his presence made that team way better.

To add, he was a fluke catch and dropped int away from winning a title. His presence had nothing to do with that loss.

No doubt about it...he has the numbers to be first ballot.I refuse to allow bias media members to sway my opinion about  the football player.

There shouldn't even be a debate.

Actually, the only real debate is whether Randy Moss is the second-greatest wide receiver of all-time, or just in the top five.

Well, as a second debate; would you take one season of Jerry Rice at his absolute apex, or one season of Randy Moss at his?  There's no question that Rice was the G.O.A.T., but Moss at his absolute best was about as phe-****'-nomenal a player as I can possibly conceive.

There shouldn't even be a debate.

I don't think it should be a debate, either.  I just have this feeling that there will be HOF voters who will look at the off the field stuff, the Oakland years, end of Pats tenure, etc... and punish Moss by not including him on the first ballot.  Hopefully, its a small minority and he'll still get in 1st ballot (as he should) but it wouldn't shock me at all if it took him a couple of years to make it in just due to the poltics/bias of it.

With all the politics involved, nothing would surprise me...with that said, he should be about as automatic as it gets

He'll get in no question.  The only issue is whether voter politics comes into play and they decide to hold off voting him in as a handslap for some of his behavior.

Clear hall of fame player, I don't really care what ballot he gets in on however.

Given how long great line men and defensive players often have to wait a WR can cool his heels. (Sorry Cris Carter!)

I'd be more supportive of Randy getting in than Farve....that's for sure

Questioning the HOF legitimacy of Moss and Farve???  Really???  You clearly have an unfavorable personal opinion of them which is fine and certainly your right; but that has nothing to with them being enshrined in Canton, and they're both about as sure fire of a HOF'er as one can be.

Yeah as much as Farve's schtick wore on me as he grew older he's a HoF player. His peak years at QB were excellent and he continued to produce for such a long period that even had his peaks been lower he would be a HoF.

Moss didn't have the longevity but again the peak of his career was the highest of any WR I've ever seen in my 27 years.

Yup.  Any arguments against those two have to be a result of personal bias.  The numbers clearly scream HOF.

The only way favre doesnt get in is if it comes out in the next few years that him being a,"Gunslinger" and throwing a crapload of picks was actually him just throwing games as a part of a gambling habbit.

Otherwise i don't see him not getting in first ballot.

Absolutely, for both Moss and Favre. Simply two of the best players in their position to ever do it.

Also, if Moss should be slighted for not being on a Super Bowl winning team, then we may as well credit Favre that much more for being on one.

If these guys aren't 1st ballot hall of famers, then the system is just that flawed.

Any arguments?  There are no unbiased arguments against these guys?  It has to be personal bias that someone would be against these guys?  Like hating a New York Yankee just because he's a Yankee or something?

The only number that really jumps out is Farve's game played streak, and he did it very hard corish too.  Yes he has the most yards because he stuck around till he was almost dead, but he also had the most interceptions and they were absolute game killers. Not just game killers but season killers.

All three of the teams that Farve left went with rookie/unproven QBs over him.

Do these numbers scream HOF?   Randy Moss was traded in his prime for a 4th rounder and a lot of teams considered that risky.

If Bill Belichek and Tom Brady have to personally revive your career in your prime is that HOF? And that just happens to be the moment they stop winning Super Bowls?

Do these numbers scream HOF? Is this just personal bias?

Hours worked in the off season.....negative 1120

Times mowed lawn...daily

Press conferences to describe your feelings.....hourly

Number of times sexted a pic of yourself to an employee of the team...at least once

Number of police officers purposely tried to kill with a car...one

Blunts smoked when he could have been working.....nobody knows.

Shouldn't a HOFer be a guy that everyone always wanted on their team? Should never have been a punchline?  Should have always outworked everyone? Should never have had their toughness or dedication questioned. Should never have acted like they were bigger than the game. Should never have acted like it was a chore to make 20million.

I mean come on. There is such a huge difference between the guys that played the right way and these guys.

It's the HOF. Not the Hall of they got lots of stats.
