Detroit, how are you going to get a 2nd star to go with Wall?

The draft. We're going to be in the top 5, in a draft that should yield a lot of talent.

I'm tempted to vote Dons, just because I believe that much in Derrick Rose.

ET:  How do Rose and Wall match up going forward?

Not that well, considering no one wins an NBA Championship on the back of their PG. On the back of their frontcourts however...

Haha, I see what you did there.

You win titles with good teams, doesn't really matter where the elite players play in my opinion.

I'd say Wall will surpass Rose, just because Wall already plays defense. If Oden is healthy then that's two elite players at the most difficult position to find elite players (also the most important in my mind)

Rose played quite a bit of defense this year. He's come a long way since Rondo completely depants him in the first round as a rookie.

I think Rose plays like a mini-Lebron, and until he becomes a better facilitator that will limit his ceiling.

I thought Collison went by him too much in the playoffs, and I don't think Collison is very good.

That's a big "if", (Oden being healthy).

Carmelo out-scores and out-rebounds both of them, and has a lot more athleticism, (and less injuries), surrounding him.

Miami is the most athletic, explosive, energetic, fast-breaking team in the TOTF running.

Are you taking now or in a couple of years? I don't think you can have a fast-breaking team with two guys as slow as Lopez and Freddette bookending the whole thing.

Detroit can reeeeally push it, and my LA team will be absoultely taylor-made for fast breaks with Lawson pushing the rock and a full lineup of athletic freaks getting up the court.

You know what helps pushing the ball? Rebounding. Don't you agree Greg and Al?

Thought so.

Well, "now" would kind of exclude Team of the "Future" ... that is what this is about, I think. ;)

I like Carmelo a lot.  The concern I have is that he'll be 28 by next year's playoffs.  Is he young enough to be the centerpiece of a youth movement?
