  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Kyle Lowry had an awful shooting night yesterday. Couldn't make a bucket, going 0-6 from the field. How did he compensate for it? Oh, just with 18 assists. Cuz that's what elite players do...when one aspect of their game isn't clicking, they make up for it in another area.

He also did this:

Did my team turn really scary during the lockout?

Iguodala is shooting 4.5 three pointers a game and making 3 of them.

If he has added 3pt shooting to his game (say he brings up his career 33% to 36%) I think he could be a top 15 player (Pierce or Manu with better passing, defense, rebounding, and worse shooting).
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

True that. David West has kinda been 'meh', but he'll figure it out.

Much like the real Grizzlies, Darrel Arthur's injury would have doinked me.

Catching myself up to speed. Would love to see a power rankings, and would do my best to help contribute. Though stats, math, and most other things not related to semi-obscure references are kind of out of my wheel house.

EDIT: Also accepted a new position, so my availability isn't quite what it used to be.

BUT BESIDES THOSE FEW THINGS, I'd say I'm a great candidate for the job!

Also Paul George grew 2 inches and is shooting .630 from behind the line on 4.1 attempts per game.

Paul George is really inconsistent in his per-game production (he's like Derrick Favors' swingman twin right now), but his %'s are up and he looks like he's really going to break out once he levels off.

Jeff Teague scores buckets.

I keep meaning to sit down and catch some Pacers action to see how George looks this season but I keep getting sidetracked by the Timberwolves. Pretty tough to turn down right now, especially with the Wolf Calls during free throws (eventually this'll not be laugh out loud funny to me, right?).

The Wolves just need to get rid of Michael Beasley. I can only root for Beasley sarcastically.

My team that I can't stop watching is the Thunder. I've actually missed more Celtics games than I have Thunder games.

I ended up "missing" the second half of the Wolves-Spurs games because I couldn't handle another second of Sean Elliot's miserable commentary.

But ya, would love to see the Wolves get rid of Super Cool Beez. Could see Houston as a nice fit (Lee & T-Will).

I hope not. When I watch OKC, I am really rooting for Harden and Perkins, but not actually for the Thunder.

WHen I watch Rockets games I'm rooting for Lowry, but I'm also really rooting for the Rockets.

They're what the Blazers used to be for me, before Kobe Bryant 'Kerriganed' Roy's knees out of sheer jealousy.

It's funny how much I'll root for my CelticsBlog draft guys. I was going nuts Friday night when Monroe was playing well, and I drafted him two years ago.
