Replace Marion with TA and they're still a championship team.

I disagree w/ this statement

I also disagree.  Marion scored 20 very important points in that game 1 win and also provided some scoring for the Mavs in other games when Dirk sat that TA would never have been able to.
Why exactly can Tony Allen never score 20 points?  Especially on a team with spacing twice as good as the Grizzlies.

Can't say I watched every Dallas game, but most of Marion's points came from in transition or someone else getting him open and Tony Allen can finish as well as anybody.

Tony has shot 51% percent for 2 years in a row, I think he's at least as efficient as Shawn Marion.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

lucky, you know i love nash teams, so put your updated team up for discussion please

Done.

PG: Nash / Udrih
SG: Turner / Terry
SF: Ariza
PF: Wallace / Haslem
C:  Noah

I envision running Wallace at the SF when Haslem is in at PF.

Turner starts, but Terry gets a lot of minutes at the SG, as I need his shooting in the lineup.

I really like what you've done with your team.  I think Udrih will be a great backup to Nash like he was to Parker.  I love Jason Terry off the bench at SG, I think you should play him 25-30 minutes per game at SG.  I think your starting SG (currently Turner) needs to be a 2/3 who can also slide to the 3 and backup Ariza.  I think Turner fits that mold, but you could definitely use an upgraded talent there.  Ariza, Wallace, and Noah are all very good fits in the starting lineup and Haslem is one of the best 4/5 off the bench for ANY team.

You even have a real good amount of defense on this squad.  The thing you're missing is some offense in the starting lineup.  I'd like to see a more offensive 2/3 like J-Rich in the starting lineup over Turner.

Awesome job though

Thanks, action. TP.

The only thing is I think your team is going to depend a lot on drawing good matchups in order to keep advancing in the playoffs.

I see my team as a potentially devastating matchup problem for you, where Nash won't be able to stay in front of Parker and your frontcourt won't be able to handle the Pacers frontcourt down low.  Your current wings are also no match for the Pacers wings.  (All in my opinion, of course.)  You're going to have to somehow convince voters that your team will impose their will of a successful fast paced and spread floor attack on the Pacers and possibly a few other teams as well if you run into them.  And that's the fun of the game :)

Gay-ZBo-Gasol vs. Wallace-Haslem-Noah seems very close to me.

Team is really coming together:

Lowry/Sessions
Harden/Garcia
Delfino/Derrick Williams
Amar'e/Derrick Williams
Bogut/Splitter

Definitely. Could be the team to beat. Glad you're in the West.

Very nice, IP.  I'm glad you're sticking with the Williams 6th man option, I think it is best for him and your team.  Splitter is a good backup to Bogut and I could potentially stepping in and playing big minutes if when Bogut goes down.

Right back atcha bud, this team is looking like its a lot more 'together' now too:

PG: Nash / Udrih
SG: Turner / Terry
SF: Ariza
PF: Wallace / Haslem
C:  Noah

Its gonna be a transition defense party, and the whole Eastern conference is invited! Crash, Ariza, Turner, no passing lane will be safe..then on top of that, Noah's out there to dissuade any easy layups. I know teams are looking at your squad licking their chops because they think individually they've got great matchups, but this is one of those teams where you can just look at the roster and 'get it'...as in it all looks like it fits together like a glove.

I would also say pretty close.  I'd expect Haslem and Noah to  Let's save this discussion for if we meet.   :)

I agree whole heartedly.  That's why I like this team (Bulls) so much

Your 1 and 4 are perfect fits as knock down shooters who can spread the floor for Kobe and Melo.  I still don't like Cousins.  Start JO and have Cousins play backup mintues at the 4 and 5.  I still don't like cousins on this team even in that role.  I think you want a defensive minded vet here

Again, like I said he's far from an ideal 3rd guy so I really don't value him that highly, but I don't value Harden that highly either.  Are you thinking about him if he reaches his potential?
No, I think Harden is already there. He was excellent for OKC once Jeff Green left. Put him in a starting role, increase his minutes and off you go.

As a starter, I think Harden is a 16-17ppg threat with very good rebounding and playmaking ability and average defense. A very efficient scorer and overall offensive player who is a major threat both off the dribble (out of the pick and roll) and with his set jump shot (great range). Very easy to play with. Complements ball-dominant stars very well and creates shots for role players.

I'm seeing the East shaping up to be a 3-4 team race.  Not going to mention names but I see one team from both the Atlantic & Southeast sticking out while 2 from the Central.

Definitely started seeing some real separation today.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, the West is a bloodbath.

Now I can insert a "super-spacing" lineup for Iggy and Wade.

Can you take out your historic teams profile and put in one for the draft?
