All right, rip away

San Antonio Spurs:
PG: Russell Westbrook
SG: Arron Affalo
SF: Dorrell Wright
PF: Carlos Boozer
C:  Demarcus Cousins
Solid spacing on the floor for Westbrook.  Boozer should give him a good low post player for a change.  It's all up to Cousins.

Needs more defense in the frontcourt though.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Alright, here goes:

PG: Ty Lawson, Baron Davis (maybe not in that order. For questions, see my treatise on BDiddy in the draft thread).
SG: Stephen Jackson
SF: Nicolas Batum
PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: DeAndre Jordan, Marcus Camby

I don't like Davis on this team.

I think you need a better 2nd option out there to open things up more for Dirk.  I don't see the explosive secondary scorer this years Mavs had.

Playoff team, no doubt.

I agree. If you could trade him for later picks, I would go with one of the remaining decent pg's as a backup.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

PG: CP3
SG: Brandon Roy
SF:
PF: Al Jefferson
C: JaVale McGee

I stand by earlier comments, I think Al Jefferson is a terrible fit for a team built around Chris Paul. I really liked the Jet pick, and could definitely see McGree working though I think his one on one team defense leaves a lot to be desired.

I will put my incomplete roster up in a moment, but thought I should start on some feedback first.

Washington Bullets   wdleehi
PF Lamarcus Aldridge
SF Danny Granger
C Marcin Gortat, Ryan Anderson
SG
PG Raymond Felton

Needs:  Guards.  Luckily, I have multiple picked out that I like and fit my need and two picks next round.

I liked the Felton selection. I think he'll do well next year in Portland.

I also like your forwards, in Granger and Aldridge.

I think Gortat without Nash loses a lot. He'll rebound and defend for you, but anything more than 8-10 points a night from him will be found money.

I don't believe Anderson can play C. A fine PF option off the bench, though.

PG: Kyle Lowry
SG:?
SF: Derrick Williams
PF: Amar'e Stoudemire
C: Andrew Bogut

I have nothing that hasn't already been said. This team goes as far as its wings can carry them. SG and Williams' play at the 3 are the key.

I like Lowry, very efficient. Can he quarterback a contending team, and keep everyone happy?

Start Baron and Camby. Baron will be engaged, and I think he'll have a blast on this team.

If Lawson can play SG (I have no idea, I defer to SO's judgment on that), I like the depth and versatility of this roster.

I formidable front court pairing as I believe Bogut to be a top 4 center in this leage and Amare is an offensive stud. I think Williams will be a very good player eventually but like Evan Turner last year will struggle out of the gates.

I don't know what to make of Lowry. Career backup that seemed destined for role player status forever, is give his shot and does well. Can he sustain that? is he that good? Prove it to me year for him.

The Celtics:

PG: Jrue Holiday
SG: Eric Gordon
SF: Luol Deng
PF: Greg Monroe
C: Tim Duncan

Bench: Taj Gibson

Who said there was something about this that didn't quite sit with them? I share the same sentiment.

I like all of these players individually. Love Monroe, Gordon is a junior assassin, Deng is quietly a very good 3rd option. Maybe it's seeing Duncan running with a bunch of guys half his age? I don't know.

It's like Duncan is the cumin in this dish. There are other spices there, but I can't taste them, and it's bugging me.

Lawson with Billups and Lawson with Felton were both effective.

Memphis Grizzlies

PG: Derrick Rose
SG: Ray Allen
SF: Tayshaun Prince
PF: Kris Humphries
C:  Roy Hibbert

To compare to the current Bulls, this is a downgrade in the frontcourt. We keep waiting for Hibbert, and I don't know if he'll ever arrive. No scoring from Humphries, but he does rebound and get after it.

I have always loved Prince's game, and Ray is the best there is. No problems with the wings.

Unless there's a scoring big off the bench, I think Rose still has to do most of the lifting, and it'll wear him down.

I have to plead ignorance here. I don't know enough about Harris' game to know whether he's the right fit at PG.

I traded Millsap, because I also wasn't crazy about him. That's probably my problem, but I wonder whether his numbers take a hit alongside those two wings.

Discussed this team at length last night. I love the Camby pick and think he should start. Simply put, even at this age, he's much much better than Jordan.

I don't get the Jordan love. He can score from outside 3 feet. He has AWFUL hands and turns the ball over at a huge rate. 90% of the people reading this post can shoot free throws at a higher percentage than him. He's not a good one on one defender an gets completely lost on help defense. Never ask him to dribble the ball.

He's tall, can rebound because he's strong and chooses randomly to block shots every once in a while. He's just not a good player. I think people get crazy because he had a great game versus the C's. That player is not the player that shows up 99% of the time.

I love Dirk, Camby and Lawson. Really love this group.

I think Jordan and Batum wildly over rated.

And think Jackson and Davis are head cases that could be assets or major problems. Evening it out the are probably a slight positive of lesser players that would be better locker room fits.

Good overall team.
