2011 CB draft: How does my team look?/division rankings

SF: Luol Deng
PF: Greg Monroe
C: Tim Duncan

Bench: Taj Gibson

The real question ? is Eric Gordon. We know he can score, but he's been compared unfavorably to other one dimensional SG scorers in the league.

The thing that has to work is that the young guys need to move ahead faster than Duncan falls behind, and I don't know if that's feasible.

I don't like Davis on this team.

I think you need a better 2nd option out there to open things up more for Dirk.  I don't see the explosive secondary scorer this years Mavs had.  

Playoff team, no doubt.

Yeah, Davis is the lightning rod, no doubt. I think Jackson is a bonafide #2 who can replicate Terry's offense, but there's still more work to be done. Thanks for the advice.

Close.  Pretty close.  Obviously, I need to build out my own "Bench Mob" like the real life Bulls but I think this team is pretty solid so far.

I think another veteran in the front court to help the Monroe/Gibson combo (talented, but young) and a solid combo guard would do wonders for you.

The other thing to consider w/ Starting B Diddy is that Lawson can play SG minutes too.

I don't know if that's the move I'd make, I'm a little torn because I love Ty Lawson, but something else to consider.

I really like this team.  Ray give Rose a true 2nd option.  

That front court looks awful familiar.  Looks like two of the guys I picked last year.

Can Gordon carry enough of the offensive load come playoff time for this team to win?  

I like all the players, but because of Duncan's slow down, offense might be really tough unless Holiday takes another huge step (which could happen like it did last year)

I thought Jrue Holiday was pretty similar last season to his rookie year. Or at least the second half of his rookie season when he was playing 30+ minutes a night.

Needs:  Guards.  Luckily, I have multiple picked out that I like and fit my need and two picks next round.

Obviously your backcourt needs help, but you've got scoring, rebounding, and good character guys up front. I'm not sold that Felton is more than a 12/6 guy outside of NYC, but there's lots of depth left at both guard spots that you can build off of.

See, I like Kris Humphries using Boozer's minutes. I like Prince well enough in Deng's role, but I don't really buy Hibbert here, even though he played Obie ball for most of his life, and on top of that he has managed to drop a lot of his baby fat.

Eh, we'll see. The two can share the same backcourt thanks to to Lawson's quickness and shooting and Davis's size without giving up too much.

I thought about that, but looking at his per 48, his numbers stayed pretty constant last year, even after the trade.

That's exactly my issue too. Even before Thibs got there, Noah is a beast defensively, and that keeps the possession counts low, and the score close...close enough for Rose to pull it out. Hibbert doesn't strike me as the guy who can play that role.
