Sorry, slow commute + trade offers + playing catchup with the board.

With the 10.17, Chicago selects Al Harrington.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I'll put Okur on the block. Looking for a soon-ish pick and to move up a little in a later round.

smaht move.

Best Player Available and also at once one of the least 'sellable' players in the draft.

I said this to Rondo earlier, but he's the Shareef Abdur-Rahim of this generation.

Eh, I like what Mehmet does for my team. I think he's enough of a scoring threat that I can afford to have him play limited minutes with Hayes to help max out Gasol/Randolph mins together.

Excellent pick. I'd consider starting him ahead of Kirilenko.

I like his shooting over AK-47 ... to give Tyreke more space to work with.

Yeah, probably. I guess I'm a little soured on Okur because of how useful he 'was' as compared to how useful he'll probably be. Good rebounder, good defender, stretched the defense. Would be a great 2nd center.

But as it is, he's more a 'Sam Perkins when Perkins got REALLY slow' kind of 3rd or 4th center, which isn't a bad thing in the 10th round.

The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Ya, I can't see him getting more than 10 minutes for us, so I don't think it'd be a yuge concern.

Like I said, our concern was getting somewhat of a scoring threat who we'd feel OK playing about 5 minutes of time w/ Hayes.
