I think you are overestimating the ability of somebody else to put together a team that could beat the current incarnation of the heat in this league.  Talent is much more spread out across the board

I think you're both right. A) It would be really hard to put together a team with Dallas's balance of star power AND depth...and B) It would really hard to assemble a team incorporating two players of Miami's big 3, let alone all 3.

Um, isn't this the Celticsblog draft. One of them is right, one of them is wrong. No in betweens.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
mgent selects Dwyane Wade..or rather I do for him.

IP -- to avoid any confusion... are our picks are *DUE* by the time listed or is that when we "go on the clock"?

Due by. That's why it started at 11:10 instead of 11:00

I'd agree they'll field much deeper and more balanced team, but you're understating the gap in talent between Miami's other two star and whoever will be available tomorrow and Wednesday.

Conversely, I think you may be underestimating the gap between 4 through 12

Not sure that I follow? But I've got a handful of players left at the top of my draft board that all could've reasonably been taken fourth.

I think he meant 4th best player on Miami (M.Miller) to 12th (M.Bibby) versus higher quality role players that they could put around LeBron.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Alright, tough choice here, but I'm gonna take the guy whose 2011 playoff run made him considerably easier to defend in a debate:

Dirk Nowitzki
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

The next 10 picks are going to be very interesting. See what order they go in.

Wrong. My favorite movie is Mark Wahlberg's 'Fear'

That's not a play on words, I just like that movie a lot.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Who's going to pick that one guy? I'd be really happy if that other guy gets chosen before that one guy!

EDIT AND REMINDER: No names until they're drafted. This includes well known nicknames, as well as twitter handles and AIM names.
