Can we get a ruling on international players? Or players who are rumored to be going across the sea?
I think players like N.Krstic + S.Weems should be considered unavailable for the duration of their international contracts.

And players like Deron Williams who are clearly returning the minute the lockout ends should be considered fully available.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
If anybody is interested in some trade talk let me know.  Nick and I are looking to move up in the second round since we have the 2nd to last pick..

TP's given for all trade talks

Remember, no trade until the end of the 1st round.

What? when did that happen?

Those were the rules last year too. I'll have a set of rules out by the end of today.

I thought it was a rule 2 years ago. i definitely made moves before day one last year.
I think it was that you could set up the trade but it couldn't be announced until after the first round. Similar to the real NBA draft.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I concur, also think its fair to assume that he is no more likely to return 'injured' than he would any other summer.

How people judge injury history and the likelyhood of future injuries is up to each individual voter/owner. It will not should not be stipulated in the rules.

I sure would hate to see it continuously brought up throughout the draft.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
2a) If a player (see Deron Williams) signs a contract that will immediately void if/when the NBA lockout ends, they ought to be considered active NBA players. If they have signed a Euro contract without such a santa-clause (see Sonny Weems), they should be considered Euros, and inactive in the NBA this year.

That strikes me as the right approach. And anyway Krstic and Weems very likely would've gone undrafted in a twenty-four team league.

While you're drawing up the rules, Commissioner Proceed, would you also announce your stance on the renaming and/or relocation of teams?

Having already had my fun mismanaging the Houston Rockets, aka "the Bosh, Joe Johnson, Monta second round flame out," I'd like to take over the otherwise dissolved Cleveland Cavaliers. We'd of course remain in the Southwest division - steady twenty-one hour bus rides will be good for team bonding.

That's fine. Cleveland Cavaliers are now in the Southwest division.

Sorry that I didn't have time to crop Szczerbiak out of the shot.
