I thought it was a rule 2 years ago. i definitely made moves before day one last year.

Wasn't two years ago when I was Commish.  I did have trade moratoriums on weekends, though.

That no trade rule until after the first round was for the Pick 2 draft not the CB draft. I remember my pick for #6 was rejected and people were trying likeheck to move picks in the middle of the first round but the asking prices were ridiculous so there was little movement. I traded out of the first round last year.
