I'm trying to remember Maggette's contract.

Moving Jackson to get the 7th pick is a good move by the Bobcats, especially if it lightens their salary load a little.

There are definitely serious talks going on between the Charlotte Bobcats and Milwaukee Bucks. Don't know all the particulars yet, but it sounds like the Bobcats could end with the 10th pick and maybe send No. 19 to Milwaukee. Don't know what veterans are involved, but here's a curiosity: Stephen Jackson and Corey Maggette have similar contract numbers, both in salary size and length of contracts. The Bucks would love to move Maggette. Don't know that the Bobcats would see him as an asset. Charlotte Observer

Great trade for Charlotte. That pick is way more valuable than either of those aging scorers to a rebuilding club like the Bobcats.

Lot of duplication in Milwaukee with Jacks and Salmons. That is going to be a problem.

Maggette doesnt have a great contract... 10 mil this year 11 mil next year. Interesting move by both teams id say.

Sjax would play SG, Salmons SF.
Or maybe Salmons is headed to Sacramento or elsewhere?
Celtics fan for life.

They could play alongside each other. Sort of.

They'd be a shot-happy pairing though. Especially with Jennings at the point plus Bogut's touches in the post. Tough to keep everyone happy there plus they're a fairly inefficient group offensively too.

Also, Jacks and Salmons would be a very poor rebounding duo on the wing. Average rebounding PGs. An undersized below par rebounding starting PF. A very poor rebounding backup center (L.Sanders), at least he was as a rookie. That team is going to struggle on the boards.

I think they need Delfino in that starting lineup to give them some board work and they need Mbah a Moute in the starting lineup for his team defensive and quickness at the four. I think their glue-guy type qualities are important to making that starting five a cohesive unit.

Chad Ford: Corrected deal: Bucks get Beno, Stephen Jackson, Shaun Livingston & 19. Bobcats get pick 7 & Maggette. Kings get 10 & John Salmons. Twitter

Now three teams each have 2 lottery picks.

Cleveland 1 & 4
Utah          3 & 12
Charlotte  7 & 9

Nice, no more Salmons. Great cost cutting by Milwaukee.

I like Beno Udrih for this team too. He'll give them a Ridnour-like presence of the bench.

With the right type of backup wing and a defensive orientated backup center, the Bucks should be back in the playoffs next season. Where they were the year before last.

My thoughts, too.  Reshuffling deck chairs.
