All the LeBron bashing across the blog, other blogs and ESPN has been a joy to read, believe me.

Would you still hate him, his childishness, arrogance and immaturity if he were to sign with the C's this offseason?

Yeah, but if he embraced the "Celtic Way" I'd come to love him...eventually.

I would root for him and hope that the Celtics will be the first team that stands up to him and make him mature as a player.
That's what I was gonna say. That and when he wins a championship and not choking in the big stage is when I would support him.

No... I'd be like most people here, root for him to do well for US but still have some inner dislike for him. I still somewhat dislike BBD for hurting Shaq last season... but I wanted him to play well with everything in me! I don't like DH but if he is a Celtics, I'll have to push that feeling way down and root like no tomorrow! In the past it was root for ANYONE that was on a team Shaq played for... now I'm all in for ONLY Celtics (if they leave my dislike will come back to the forefront), no matter who they are (except Kobe, I will not cheer for him but I won't bad-mouth him while he is here)!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'd even root for Kobe if he was a Celtic  ;D

but loving LeBrick would only happen if he played Celtic basketball. He has the tools to do so, and he just needs to learn some post moves to be unstoppable as a #1 option.

I'd rather have LeBrick than Wade or Kobe or anyone besides CP3 and Howard... now that would be a nice "three amigos": CP3, LeBrick and Coward. Dislike the latter two? sure, but they could be something.

Quote
Marbury is actually a great guy off the court (he does all sorts of tremendous charity work), my disdain for him was because of his game, not his character.

FWIW, LeBron does a ton of charity off the floor too, especially in Akron.

I would love LeBron here.

 A. He's the best player in the league.

B. Has anyone ever heard a teammate say that he's a bad teammate? For the most part, his teammates have always loved him, from my understanding.

C. He works hard off the court. His game has improved monumentally since his rookie year. Are there holes? Yes, but they've lessened over the years (ie. shooting and defense). He's always in phenomenal shape.

D. Guys in the last four years who I've rooted for who had more off-the-court character issues: Posey, Marbury, Sheed, Tony Allen, Jermaine O'Neal

This about covers it for me.

well i think lebron would fit in perfectly with us we'd probably trade away rondo & doc would cut all the nonsence & say "lebron your a passing point not a scorer" then i feel it'll be an automatic title for us therefore yes i'd love lebron though he is tho moft gifted player in the league he isnt MJ or kobe for that matter the media wanted him to be the next air to MJ while lebron just wants to win plain & simple i feel lebron is a but immature but he's still what 26? i think its more of da media that made him to be this hated villian than himself i feel bad for the guy honestly

danny pull the trigger ! lol hahahaha

I would appreciate his game but dislike the man, unless he really changed his tune over the course of a few years.

Generally if I dislike a player, I continue to dislike him when he joins the C's.

I've really got nothing against the man, but I would continue to dislike his game which in a way, I guess, is a reflection of who he is a man.

Lebron James is just not a Celtic.  And, I don't want him to ever be.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Would you love LeBron if he were a Celtic tomorrow?

Going back a couple years Pauli had a few "ego" issues too which is sorted out with the arrival of KG and Ray money.

Paul, I feel was a stubborn guy in the beginning of his career (disclaimer: Paul is my favorite player in the league since 2000) and if he managed to change his act and win a chip, I feel confident that Brick would be able to follow suit.

As for Brick incorporating the Celtic way to play the game, well a whole different debate, one that I feel might be too much to ask from him.

I could like Lebron.  But I think he needs to get as far away from Dwayne Wade as he can.  Funny thing, I used to think that Wade was somehow the classier of the two.  Man, I don't know where I got that idea!!  They are like two kids in the back of the classroom, and one of them is a really bad kid (Wade), and the other is potentially a pretty good kid (Lebron), but the bad kid keeps egging on the potentially good kid to be bad!  I mean, come on, Lebron!  Do you really want to be remembered for your association with a guy who thought he had to injure the best player on the opposing team in order to win?  As they say, "you are better than that!"
