He's been lobbying for this like skilled politician. I'd say the only guy who wants a coaching/front office job more is Kenny Smith.

Jackson will do alright. I think maybe he's been in the booth a little bit too long, so he's gonna need to shake that image, but he'll be alright.

I enjoy him as a commentator, but I disagree with almost everything he says when it comes to the 'finer points' of basketball. I'm very surprised he was able to get a coaching job.

i think jackson will made a fantastic coach.

I think he will be good as well. More than half the battle is commanding the respect of the players and having a handle on the team's personalities and I think he already has the respect. Seems they got a good x's and o's guys along with him as well.
