Thunder turmoil, Rajon for Russell anyone?

 Say things blow up after this Playoffs for the Thunder.

 If Brooks has to keep benching Westbrook because he won't pass it to the Teams best player and a top three scorer in the game.

 Then maybe Presti is forced to trade for more of a true Point, with championship experience, that's only major flaw is that he can't shoot and he won't take even the wide open jumpers most of the time.

 Throw in the fact that  both the Center and Point guard  come from a former champion, and your paring that with Kevin Durant the man, James Harden who's looking like Vinny Johnson right now, and Serge Ibaka another rising shot blocking stud in the making, and you just might have the recipe for a champion moving foward without the turmoil of who's team is this and I want to get my twent points every night.

 This all cotingent on the Thunder losing this series and Westbrook acting up about it.

 For us we get Westbrook a player with unlimited upside, but rough aroung the edges. Doc could do wonders for this kid.

 Maybe make him a two who knows. The kid can play though.

Rajon is way too valuable for just a one-to-one trade like this. IMO, we'd need more from them.

My point is that Rajon has led this team as its PG to a title...took us to an NBA Finals...and was arguably the reason for us losing to MIA thanks to DWade's rasslin' move on him.

Additionally, Rajon Rondo has put up I think 6 playoff triple doubles in his young age - he's only 24 or 25?

He's showing signs of developing confidence in his J, too.

Westbrooke? Only 1 triple double....and he likes to shoot - quite a bit.

Yep...like I stated earlier...Russell is a fine player, but OKC'd need to come stronger for me to get Rondo.

Rajon Rondo, Kevin Durant and Kendrick Perkins

 No doubt more explosive and more athletic, and a PG that could shoot a fifteen footer.

 I think Doc could get through to him.

 And if we have any shot at landing Dwight  which is about 4% right now, That's a much easier sell to Dwight than what we currently have.

The 'rift' in OKC is conjured up by the media controversy sells. I hope Sam Presti doesn't fall for media pressure. Russ just scratched the surface on his potential. Where was the scrutiny on Derrick Rose's awful game2? The two players have more in common than most think. The difference is Rose has become a media darling. Russell Westbrook is being unfairly singled out and targeted. When in reality he is as good as Derrick Rose with even more upside. So no OKC shouldn't trade Russell Westbrook. Celtics would exchange Rondo 4 Russ in a millisecond if they could.

The single best defender any team on the playoffs has had on Kevin Durant has been Russell Westbrook.

Personally I just think that makes us worse and OKC better (possibly). Rondo is the perfect point guard for this team...the Big Three would absolutely hate playing with Westbrook imo.

  I'd say it looks like the big three will be *thrilled* to play with someone who passes them the ball when the mood strikes him. Is the point of the trade to make our offense better or worse? Are we trying to help OKC or the Celts? Inquiring minds want to know...

  Aside from the fact that Rondo takes and makes plenty of outside shots I'd agree with this.

Russell's not going anywhere ... Rondo's not going anywhere ... Trust me.

I would do it, but only if it included Ibaka. He could spell KG and could do wonders learning from KG as he fades away. Kid has got potential, I remember hearing he has only played basketball for like 3 or for years.

What if...and I'm just speaking in terms of a hypothetical situation here because this trade would never happen. Let's say Presti went crazy and offered us Durant, and Westbrook and Ibaka for Pierce, Ray and Rondo?

Would you do it?
I would in a heartbeat and I want Pierce to retire a Celtic
