The Los Angeles Lakers, with this pick, could boast the LONGEST POSSIBLE Frontline - ever.

This man was amazing in his short career, and he and Olajuwon formed the vaunted Twin Towers.

Injuries shortened his career unfortunately, but while he played he was impactful. Not many had his skills, size, and athleticism:

Ralph Sampson!!

Imagine a possible lineup of Kareem, Ralph and KG at the SF? That can be doable in certain sets.

The Big 3 of the all-time "Bark worse than bite" team.  ;D
Yup

While I think the Kareem/Ralph/KG lineup is a pipe dream, I think Ralph Sampson is my favorite pick in terms of value to position taken that you've made all draft GF. Great selection.

Big Shot Bob Horry

Very good pick.
If he never sees any court time, he doesn't have the talent to sniff the court in this game.

He's the 12th man, and he's a proven rabbit foot. What are you asking of your 12th men?

Except if I need a Buzzer beater. Be hard to guard a line up of Hakeem/Horry/Pippen/Miller/ Kidd in a last 5 second set.

 ;D.

If anything, I'll give Ralph and Hakeem much love for what they did to LA back in 85-85. I've watched clips of that WCF series, and he and Hakeem just controlled everything...one game they swatted 11 shots between them.

Kareem played out of his mind, too - he was a victim of a few Ralph swats.

This makes what Bird, Kevin, Chief and Bill Walton did to them back in 86 even more memorable, in that they contained those two.

What every owner has done with this draft is amazing, but I really believe that THOSE FOUR (Bird, Walton, Kevin and Chief) formed the best frontline EVER.

I just cringe when ESPN calls MIA "The Big Three", nowadays.

PUHLease!!

In this game he needs a more elite skill set and be able to provide spot minutes in the case of foul trouble.

There are a lot better players who could do all of that better than Horry.
