In all seriousness -

Its too bad it'd take too long and/or possibly turn nasty, but doing match ups are a ton of fun to do. I'd love to see the explanations and counters on how teams would play each other.

IE: In a Sonics - Pacers match up: Pippen on Wade I'd assume. Pippens an incredible defender, but does he have the quickness to keep up with Wade? Is Wade's quickness enough to offset a clear size and strength disadvantage?

I'd probably leave Reggie on him because I'm not sure he could handle Marion's size.

I'm leaning toward's this line-up. Thoughts?

Sonics Historical Draft:

C: Hakeem Olajuwon
PF: Maurice Lucas
SF: Scottie Pippen
SG: Reggie Lewis
PG: Jason Kidd

Bench: Reggie Miller, Wes Unseld, Penny Hardaway. Grant Hill, Dave Cowens, Blake Griffin.

Nice, but no match for the Memphis Grizzlies and its 3 MVP starting lineup of Malone, McAdoo, James, Pierce, and Paul
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I actually love us in that match-up.

I think you need to start Hill to spread the floor more.

If this is the Chicago Bulls starting lineup lets see what we have:

Bill Walton
Willis Reed
Dave DeBusschere
Jerry West
Magic Johnson

Three NBA MVP players
Five Hall of Fame Players
Four 1st Team All-NBA players
Four 1st Team All-Defense players
Five World Champions
Four multiple time World Champions
Four NBA Finals MVPs
One Sixth Man of the Year

On the bench:

Two scoring champions
Two Defensive Players of the Year
A rebound champion
Another NBA Finals MVP
Three more multiple time World Champions
Many more 1st team All-Defense and 1st Team All-NBA players

Not too shabby

All time memphis 2010-2011 Grizzlies! Grant Hill is way more awesome OJ Mayo, Reggie Miller is Shane Battier and Dave Cowens is Darrel Arthur!

But could Kidd play the role of Conley Jr.?

Well we know, Hubie, that Penny Hardaway can play the role of Grievis Vasquez to a T. I mean, come on.  A bigger player than you would expect at the point, a streaky outside shooter who is deadly when he gets to the painted area. And you know you have to keep a man on him at all times because if you leave him for a second, you know he's going right by you and scoring at the rim.

-Hubie 2.

Tomorrow, I am away for the day and your commissioner for the day is IndeedProceed. Please shower him with TPs and treat him as well as you would me.

No.

Check that.

Treat him like respectable person he is who is going out of his way to do us all a favor.

Thank You.

Go Bulls.

I love how Durant is a 6th round pick and Anthony is a 10th round pick.  Classic.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
