Miami, our bench is Fat Lever, Joe Johnson, Tracy McGrady, Jack Sikma and Bob Lanier. Yes, you should fear us.

Penny/ Miller/Hill/Unseld/Cowens are ready.

Cowens is worried about Lanier, Unseld knows he can't guard Jack on the perimeter, T-Mac takes Hill, Joe Johnson takes Miller and Penny has his hands full with Fat.

Joe Johnson takes Reggie. Please, say that louder so Reggie can hear you. ;D

Joe takes Reggie because unlike Reggie Joe can pass, rebound, defend and play multiple spots.

Whoa there.

Other points may be arguable, but Reggie Lewis was 3 times the defender Joe Johnson will ever be.

I agree.  That statement makes absolutely no sense.

Until people start telling Reggie he's not as good as someone else and then things like this happen:

Reggie was one of the nastiest competitors of all time, don't go saying how someone else is better than Reggie. Just think it quietly.  ;D

Here's something I've been kicking around:

Dwyane Wade at the point?

Why?

With Nash and Price,

Why?

It's another, more defensive attack.

I think if you had a great defensive 2 guard/ spot shooter on your bench, it could make sense. But you have guys who are good at that but not great. So leave Nash in.

To clarify, I didn't mean to start the game. Just during stretches of the game.

Oh, well then because people get touchy when you say Dwayne Wade - careerSG-- playing point I'd say" What do you think about a Price /Wade backcourt with Price playing off the ball"?

In the judging round, is it match ups, or just one presentation and then rank?

The Portland Trail Blazers select:

Brandon Roy

I thought about Roy a few times. My issue is with him needing the ball. He's a heckuva player, but I don't like him in this format.

Also considering his best season he put up 22 4 and 5 I would take
Schrempf over that.  Espcially since as StartOrien said, there are going to be better players on the team that should be handling the ball
Pace, Pace, Pace, Pace.

Brandon Roy's team that year played at a snail pace.

His talent and production that year make him a steal during this round.

Wade played PG plenty his first two years in the league, he also has continued to play PG on offense much later than that.

Unless people think Dwayne Wade can't guard the point........

One presentation and then our five panelists can ask questions and then give me their rankings of the top five in each category. Awards handed out the next day.

Nice. Can't wait to see how many times the terms 'overrated' and 'underrated' are used.

Yeah, but Wade has played the point a long time. he is the defacto PG for Miami and has been since Shaq left.
