For our 11th round pick we're getting an athlete that could fly. In 77-78 he finished 3rd in MVP voting with 27.2ppg on 52% shooting. He once scored 53 points in a half. He had a 48" vertical leap, 4 feet!!

With pick 11.11 the Celtics select:

David "Skywalker" Thompson
I was really hoping he would fall one more round. Nice pick

Big fan!

I was considering him earlier in the draft then sort of forgot about him.
Yup

I meant Joe Johnson was a better all around player than Reggie Miller, not Lewis.

Ah, that makes more sense.

Overall, maybe. But in this format Miller's a much superior player. Joe Johnson's a nice player, but there's no lack of players who have pretty much the exact same game/career.

EDIT: Wow, didn't realize Joe shot .478 from distance in his final year with Phoenix. Makes you wonder how good he could've been if he continued to play w/ a great PG.

That's right he was on one of your lists from Tuesday or yesterday, wasn't he?

Miami, we have scoring inside and out, plus D and rebounding. Plus we are awesome because I say so. That is all.

There is definitely some separation now among the teams.

My team would score 500 points on you.

Nash has more MVP's then Kidd
Dwyane Wade has more championships than Hill (WHOSE A SMALL FORWARD BTW)
Scottie Pippen doesn't even have a nickname
Charles Barkley has been on more dream teams than Cowens
Bill Russell has 9 more championships than Hakeem.

CASE CLOSED

In all seriousness -

Its too bad it'd take too long and/or possibly turn nasty, but doing match ups are a ton of fun to do. I'd love to see the explanations and counters on how teams would play each other.

IE: In a Sonics - Pacers match up: Pippen on Wade I'd assume. Pippens an incredible defender, but does he have the quickness to keep up with Wade? Is Wade's quickness enough to offset a clear size and strength disadvantage?

I think my presentation will just be the strategy I'd use against each team, and if I honestly think I could beat them. Would any owners have a problem w/ me doing that?
