To me Billups is a no brainer this late.

No doubt.  I just don't support any argument that has him ahead of Stockton.

SF: Scottie Pippen
SG: Grant Hill
PG: Jason Kidd

Bench: Reggie Miller, Wes Unseld

I love the defense, unselfishness and competitiveness of this team.
You have Hill starting at SG? He was SF his whole career.

I think he's quick enough where that woudln't be much of an issue.
I don't know about that. You are talking a guy that is a born and bred SF having to guard the very best SGs of all time in their prime years.

I don't see it.

Why would I have Hill guard the best shooting guards ( like Michael) when I could just have Scottie do it if Hill wasn't capable and just have Hill guard the small forwards.

Why would Grant Hill have anymore difficulty guarding 2's than Reggie Miller would?

I drafted the guy and won't try to argue him against Stockton overall. There are some things Billups does better but we're talking about a 3rd round pick versus an 8th round pick. Billups ability to post up is certainly a bonus but I really got him because he's 5th all time in 3 pointers made with a very good % and is more than competant in the rest of his game to provide me with bench minutes.

That's how I see it.

Plus, pre-injury Grant Hill was quick enough to guard SG's.

You're talking about taking a guy whose been a bonafide Small Forward (at 6'8") his whole career and plugging him in at a position he's not accustomed to and guarding the all-time best players at SG.

That's a big leap of faith and one I'm not buying at all.

What makes you think Grant Hill, out of position, can guard the top 10-15 shooting guards of all time?

I'd much prefer a 6'8 Grant Hill playing 'out of position ' defending the greatest sg's ever - even though as KC rightly points out this could vary based on match ups w/ Pippen - then a 6'7 Reggie Miller playing 'in position'

This guy.

Is that 2000 Paul Pierce or 2008 Paul Pierce you're referring to?
