Edgar - I was going to PM you with this, but you have had a negative slant towards every single pick of mine.

Would you like to discuss in the thread or PM?

If there is Bias here - whether it's towards Me, my team (Lakers on a CelticsBlog), or my picks it just seems strange.

Thoughts on my Wilt-McHale-Barry frontline?

Very good, and sound fundamentally. I'd have my concerns with them being able to keep up with some of the more athletic teams if I were you.

Wilt and Mchale were athletes.

How do you see them doing against the Dirk-D12 combo?

Wilt McHale eats DD for breakfast

And Jordan eats them all for lunch.

Edgar has had a negative outlook on just about everybody's pick thus far.  Don't take it personally. ;)

I like the Payton pick.  He wouldn't have been the first PG I took, but he would have been in the top five.

I'll admit, I don't have a Jordan counter yet. Maybe locking him out of the stadium.

Wilt is big enough, strong enough and athletic enough to guard D12. Plus I think he hurts D12 on the defensive end.

I see Dirk having issues guarding McHale but ditto McHale on Dirk. Although McHale did guard everybody.

I think that this team could have some issues w/ speed, I'd like to see a fast bench big to help you out there.

With the players on the board, I don't think you'll have too hard of a time there.

My PG had a triple double season, my SG had a 15 rebound season, and my SF had an 8 assist season.

My PG led the league in scoring and assists, my center was too tall for submarines, and my SF was Larry Flippin' Bird  :P

My PF destroyed Barney the Dinosaur in a game of 1-1
That's almost as big of an accomplishment as beating Dick Bavetta in a foot race.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Not at all.
Dont you have Kareem?
I thinked hes good pick at that time.

I think you could get more value in a guard this far
without going Payton.
thats all I said.
Now watching your team it will be interesting and tough deffensively
Offensively I dont see it in the same elite category than others out there.

Larry laughs at you all and mercilessly cans game winners on you with his eyes shut and one hand tied behind the back while you cry like Big Baby at a sold out cheeseburger joint.

If you're looking to describe him look no further than the scoreboard.

No worries...still a work in progress here. I have a core of 4 I am looking at from here on out, to round out the team. I think they can still be had.

Wilt tortues Robinson worse than Hakeem in the 1995 play-offs, McHale destroys your yet to be drafted PF. Meanwhile Barry matches Larry trash talk for trash talk. ;D
