Given Bahku's condition should we have anybody make the pick for him?  I would hate if he got skipped a whole round for something out of his power
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

As long as whoever makes the pick promises not to pick any of the players I want  ;)

Kidding aside, in this particular format if I was Bahku I'd rather get my pick skipped and drop 9 spots than to have someone pick for me. Just a personal preference.

I understand the sentiment, we all hate to see someone miss out due to health reasons but that wouldn't be fair to Bahku or anyone else playing. Especially if Bahku has someone in mind and that person is still available when he comes on board to pick. I mean what happens if the pick is made for him and 20 minutes and 2 picks later he shows up to find his pick is not what he wanted and the man he did want is already off the board?

This was tough, too ... again I felt the need to pass over some other mouth-watering choices from the past at other positions in order to shore up my dominance inside, as well as provide another big who is probably the best outside shooter ever at his position. Hence, (and I know my PG will be gone by mu next pick), with the first pick of the third round in the 2011 CB All-Time Historical draft, (3.1), the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers select 7'0", 245-pound Power Forward from Wurzburg, Germany ...

Nice, looks like the point is moot.

With the way he is playing now, Dirk's a world-beater.

Don't worry, I won't be late ... if I can't pick, I'll have a back-up plan. :)

Dirk is exactly the guy I thought you needed, Bahku.

Great pick.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Bahku's got an interesting choice coming up here. In a perfect world, he'd be able to pick someone whose offense was a complement to both Howard's and MJ's, and a person whose ego allows them to both be a ridiculous competitor and at the same time not need the main stage, or get offended by having someone tell them what to do all the time (like MJ would).

Maybe a stretch 4 who is a great lockerroom guy but also a fierce competitor, who can also drain them from outside. There's a few of them.

Dirk was the guy I was thinking of here.
