Paul Pierce has been fantastic. Going punch for punch with LeBron.

His 19 points on 6-9 shooting and 6-7 FTs have fought off Miami's rally.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect him to duplicate that in the second half, though.

We're gonna need to get Ray some open looks and put KG to work inside if we want our offense to keep going.

Baby is having a very tough time out there.  He should have handled the KG pass and he's been generally abysmal.

However, he knows not to shoot and he's trying to make an impact with hustle. It's not working out for him though.  The game seems to be moving too fast for him.

Yeah, this is just not a good match up for Glen Davis.  He'd be a much bigger asset against a less athletic team (maybe he can be decent if we're lucky enough to get past Miami and face Boozer).
I hate BBD against Boozer. Gives Booz too much of a size/length advantage ... something Boozer rarely has but thoroughly enjoys when he gets it.

It's nice to be the bigger, well longer, body for a change.

Haha, solid question somebody just asked A. Sherrod on Twitter:

How much money has Glen Davis cost himself this post-season?

Unfortunately, I think he may be playing himself right into the Celtics' price-range.

If he's willing to sign a one-year deal, Ainge would probably be willing to overpay too

My god I hope not. I never want to see him in a Celtics jersey again after this year.

Agreed.  I'd love to see the Celtics sign and trade him for somebody younger, taller, longer, and more athletic with potential to develop into a starter.

Honestly, I wouldn't care if they let him walk as a UFA after the year. Addition by subtraction.

gotta finish stronger....james and wade getting to the rim at will

Shaq has 4 more fouls. Doc let him stop the Heat.

Garnett has been quiet. I think he'll step it up in the second half.

Rondo was looking frisky early on ... but less involved as the game continued. Need him to get back into it.

Somebody tell Ray to value the basketball.  God he makes the most ill advised passes that turn into momentum changing fast break chances.

Those are the offensive keys.  On defense, we need to close the paint.

Miami lucky as hell to be in this game -- Chalmers and Wade almost lost the ball a collective 4 times, barely recovering it and turning broken, near-turnover plays into easy points. That's **** 12 points of swing.

I'm disgusted and irate.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I'm a big Big Baby fan, but how fast can you go from a 6th man candidate to the worst guy on the floor almost every game...
Big Baby was an asset and now he has an negative impact on our team

Even more reason to resign him for cheap. We should hope that Baby gets his form back, not that Danny trades him for 50 cents on the Dollar.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Just getting back...I turned on the TV just in time to see Glen fumble that KG pass.

C'mon Glen you're better than that.

Otherwise I see Paul is doing his usual Captain-Like play.

Keep it up, C's!!

i just dislike the fact boston gets to the rim and gets clubbed (see JO) and no foul...yet wade and bosh have automatic and 1s or FTs anytime they step in the paint
