KG is the only one playing with any fire and Pierce started that way but has now disappeared

Rondo and the bench don't even feel like going there can't see how we take the game unless something changes

Pierce hasn't disappeared.  He's going to the basket and not getting any calls.
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

I think Jeff Green was doing an excellent job on James Jones there toward the end of the quarter. something we have lacked

It's tough to play hard and still come out down 2.

To those who keep wanting to state the obvious, we all know Miami has been the better team throughout this series. It really doesn't need to be stated every time Miami pulls ahead.

Despite the C's looking outclassed in the series so far, I hold out hope that the Heat will at some point start missing key shots at key moments.  If not, they win.  But, Boston still has a shot at this game and if they pull it out, the series is not over.

A call for all positive energy from Cblog -- this half may be the last chance for hope, so let's make the most of it.

Fat baby once again ruined everything that was going well. Letting Anthony dominant the game

All contact on heat players is a ticky tack foul, and all contact on the Celtics is a play on.

I don't know what Rondo is doing, he is so afraid of the Lebron help block from behind that he wont even try and penetrate.
Rondo isn't in the game mentally tonight. He looks like a scared little boy playing amongst men.

Rondo has hardly been in this series.  I'm really not sure what it is, but the difference between Rondo in these playoffs vs. Rondo in the playoffs last year is incredible.

Rondo in this years playoffs was great in the first round...unfortunately it hasn't translated into the Miami series. There defense will do that to you.

We're only down by 2.  I'll take it.

We should be up by about 6. We're getting killed at the center position.

After the way the Celtics started this game, I think being down by 2 at the half is pretty disappointing.  They started this game looking like they wanted to take over and not let go.  Unsurprisingly, perhaps, they weren't able to sustain it.

While I hear what you're saying, this is an extremely winnable game.  I'm going to do my best to keep a positive attitude.  This very well could be one of the last times we see this team together, and I intend on going down cheering.

You're right. May as well enjoy it until it's over.

Down 2 at halftime,  [but] It just feels like we're hanging on

Uhm-hm.  They need to come out like they did to start the game. And Doc needs a more creative bench rotation. Cant let things grind to a halt like they did in the 2nd

We're good, we can still get this guys. Yes the Heat look better, but we're still the Celtics, with Rayray, Pierce and KG.

Oh and let's hope someone slaps Rondo in the face. Twice. Let him get angry. He plays harder, drives harder when he's angry as.

So what?  We're not.  It sucks that we squandered the lead, but we're still only down 2.  Should we whine and moan about how much the team sucks and how the trade sucked, or should we make the best of it and cheer the team on?

I understand the frustration.  I've hated the way we've played since February as well.  That said, are we really so jaded that we give up on the team when they're down 2 at halftime?
