exactly. we should be up 10, we missed a lot of easy looks

That's because we're the better team.  When we play our game they cannot beat us.  We showed that in the regular season.

Problem is we're not executing well and we're struggling to finish when we do.

problem with that is that "executing well" and "finishing" is what superior teams do. celtics can't be the better team if they don't play like it.

True, and I'm frustrated by it too.  But I believe if both teams bring their A game, or both bring their B game, etc, Boston wins.

Problem is they're playing at about their B to B+ and we're at about our C-.  Part of that is how they're playing but a lot of it is just us not getting it done.  It's not that we're not good enough, it's that we aren't playing well enough, which is a much better problem to have.

well the next half pretty much is the season IMO...

a city that saw the red sox come back from 0-3 to the yankees and just last year the flyers come back from 0-3 to beat the bruins, that's pretty premature

don't think so really. miami is capable of winning one or 2 in boston

Yeah but comebacks like that are the exception, not the rule...so I tend to agree with him, season online for the next 24 minutes

limpy pierce is outmatched by lebron and a hot wade is too much for ray

Im thinking the wing pair of Paul/Ray cant keep up with Bron/Wade and there is not enough help from the other 3 guyus to cover for it. While is counter-intuitive to sit your best guys, Doc maybe needs to stick Del on Wade, bring Ray off the bench, something...

Doc is very worried about Rondo's back....but more worried about Pierces foot.

  • Rondo = Good
The news about Paul Pierce just keeps sounding better.  Our #1 option is hobbled to the point where we don't know "how much we'll get out of him," KG can't knock down a jumper, Ray Allen is being smothered by the Miami defense, and Rondo still refuses or is unable to take over.

It's looking great, guys.

Green was feeling it earlier. Why not continue to go to him? He has been the only Celtic shooting well.

The Celtics have a horrible habit of going away from what's been working. If KG hits two in a row from the post, other players start taking jumpers. If Rondo penetrates for a few easy buckets, someone else starts taking jumpers. And yes, there really is a tendency for this team to settle for jumpers instead of being/staying aggressive.

See Kevin, here's the thing, we wanted you to be more aggressive, take more shots, which you've done so thank you...but ya know you should probably MAKE the shots, not just shoot them.

2-10?...you may as well just not shoot

You expect Pierce and Ray to get outplayed by the 1st and 3rd best basketball players in the world.

They can still beat them without stopping wade and james.

just have to execute OUR game.

I'm really missing Mike & Tommy right now.
