Why does this feel like they are losing by 15

We're lucky to be down by 5.. LUCKY

On the other end though Miami is quite "lucky" to be up 5. They didn't score for like 5 minutes straight.

exactly. we should be up 10, we missed a lot of easy looks

With KG unable to score, Paul gimpy, and Rondo ineffective so far in this series, it looks like it might be time for a curtain call for the Celtics.

Hopefully the C's can win at least one.  :-X

I will never understand why it is taboo to point out that the Celtics are overmatched. Do I like it? Not at all. I love the Celtics and have my whole life. Last year hurt because I felt we were better than the Lakers, but lost. This series, I do not think the Celtics are the better team right now. I hate it, but that doesn't mean I can deny it.

It does not make me a fairweather fan because I think Miami is going to win this series. It does not make anyone a fairweather fan for thinking that. Of all the teams left in the post season, both in the East and the West, I hate the matchup Boston has with Miami.

I picked Miami to win this series in five, with one big game for the Celtics. I also said if they beat Miami, banner 18 is ours. I just cannot find a scenario, barring food poisoning taking down the Heat starters, preventing Miami from moving on.

These are the Boston Celtics, my Celtics. I will watch the games even though I expect a series loss because I love my Celtics. I am sad about it, but that's sports.

I am a Montreal Canadiens fan too and picked Boston to win in 7 games because I felt they were just that little bit better than what Montreal could bring. I did not miss a game of the series and I have no shame in the losing. I won't have shame in losing to Miami either.

Go Celtics.

Well said.  The Heat appear to be the better team right now.  They are finding ways to score, they are playing with greater intensity, and they are preventing the Celtics from getting anything going offensively.  The Heat deserve to be up in this series right now, and it's starting to appear as though the Celtics are simply overmatched.

Eh...they were pretty sick. If Ray or PP or even Rondo did that this thread would have went crazy. Its okay to give credit where credits due.

That's because we're the better team.  When we play our game they cannot beat us.  We showed that in the regular season.

Problem is we're not executing well and we're struggling to finish when we do.

Mad respect to Miami's defense. You expect a team with that talent to score, but these guys are so quick on their rotations you can tell they're really committed to winning.

really? really?

I hate to agree with Charles Barkley, but right now the Celtics are just "not playing well."  I have a bad feeling that it's not as simple as that, though . . . I think the Heat are forcing the Celtics to play badly with their strong defense and pounding, demoralizing offense.

I'm having a hard time imagining the Celtics turning this around, because I think it has more to do with how well the other team is playing than it has to do with how poorly the Celtics are playing.

If there's a good takeaway from the 1st half, the Heat arent raining 3s and Bosch has been contained. Its been all on Bron_Wade.

Now, if Doc could wake our shooters up from their nap..

Leave it to Charles Barkley to be the voice of reason. Its not like we're playing our best ball and are simply overmatched: we're playing badly.

And that's not even a product of Miami's "all-world" defense - we're missing bunnies and good shots.

Call me a blind optimist, but I just don't see the doom & gloom that the naysayers see.
