  • Rondo = Good
Rondo stinks tonight and the offense is clueless

When do we start to consider that this team is just not good enough?

We dont. What do you want them to lose?

I certainly don't . . . but that won't stop it from happening.

I will never understand why it is taboo to point out that the Celtics are overmatched. Do I like it? Not at all. I love the Celtics and have my whole life. Last year hurt because I felt we were better than the Lakers, but lost. This series, I do not think the Celtics are the better team right now. I hate it, but that doesn't mean I can deny it.

It does not make me a fairweather fan because I think Miami is going to win this series. It does not make anyone a fairweather fan for thinking that. Of all the teams left in the post season, both in the East and the West, I hate the matchup Boston has with Miami.

I picked Miami to win this series in five, with one big game for the Celtics. I also said if they beat Miami, banner 18 is ours. I just cannot find a scenario, barring food poisoning taking down the Heat starters, preventing Miami from moving on.

These are the Boston Celtics, my Celtics. I will watch the games even though I expect a series loss because I love my Celtics. I am sad about it, but that's sports.

I am a Montreal Canadiens fan too and picked Boston to win in 7 games because I felt they were just that little bit better than what Montreal could bring. I did not miss a game of the series and I have no shame in the losing. I won't have shame in losing to Miami either.

Go Celtics.

Two field goals by the starters in the second period.  Two.  Five total.

If Rondo doesn't make both of these FT, I'm done with this guy.

It would be great if those who have given up already to leave the thread to those who are frustrated but believe that it's not yet over.

5 points.

Down 5 at halftime with "bad Rondo" on the court and D-Wade literally on fire yet again (didn't think he could repeat this kind of performance two games in  a row but wow).

The logic says Rondo should wake up and Wade cool down but I don't think it will happen and I think we will see much of the same. So to me the key is to play JO as much as possible, get KG in the post, and play Delonte instead of Rondo immediately if Rondo plays poorly again. Doc's inability to adjust or change his lineup worries me though.

I would also consider playing Pierce at the 2 with Green at the 3 when resting Ray or Green at the 2 and Pierce at the 3. I think Green can handle Wade on D (and if not well it's not like the man can't miss right now).

With KG unable to score, Paul gimpy, and Rondo ineffective so far in this series, it looks like it might be time for a curtain call for the Celtics.

Hopefully the C's can win at least one.  :-X

And for half time entertainment we get to hear Charles Barkley drool over Wade. >:(

On the other end though Miami is quite "lucky" to be up 5. They didn't score for like 5 minutes straight.

For everyone saying that the Celtics look ugly, (aside from a couple highlight plays), the Heat look just as ugly.

This is a 50-50 matchup. Any team can win any game on either court. This is far from over!! Go Celtics!
