Scott Brooks is right:  the Thunder are rushing their offense.  Terrible.

Smart play!!!

Ok...the more I think about it, OKC's going to need one of those four Bigs of theirs to have some sort of offensive lowpost presence this series, which may be too much too ask...ZBo looking like he's feasting out there.

Yup!!! Thinking the same thing. That's why the Celtics were at a disadvantage with Perk on the floor

"OKC doesn't need a scoring center because they have Durant and Westbrook"

Haha pleeeeaase

The scary thing is that Marc hasn't even contributed much  offensively - yet.

Once he gets going, OKC may not have anyone to body him up...that guy is just huge. I watched him in the post vs Duncan and he just looked too long for the Spurs.

Marc is a perfect compliment to Zach. Zach has upped his game, too - but those two bigs play very well off of each other.

The Thunder played a little better toward the end of the half (coincidentally, when ZBo was on the bench), but the Grizzlies looked fantastic.

What is Perk doing? Towel Waiving!!!!

That's why they're losing. ;)
Perk is playing him about as well as you can.  It's not like all his shots weren't contested.  Perk is at his best when the guy is going into him and he can use his strength.

In my opinion Perk needs to keep making him fade away.  He can't stop playing him for the drive like he did on that play he was in the game because ZBo is gonna twice as much damage in the paint.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Does anyone get called for shielding off the defender with the off arm?

Ha, you're really comparing a career role player to the best shooter of all time?

Perk vs ZBo? Not a matchup in OKC's favor....I love Perk, but he will have his hands full in that matchup.

When MEM plays to that particular advantage, it's good for them.

I cannot recall a PF like Zach in quite a while...the guy probably cannot clear a telephone book, but plays so smart....so active.

Proud of how hard he's worked since Portland. The man has truly re-invented himself.

Yeah, Perk needs to defend the paint (which he's been doing pretty well).  The fadeaway and the three pointer are shots that Perk has to pretty much concede.

No, not at all.  Pointing out that sometimes when experts or message board posters claim that father time is running out, thats not always the case.

Ray Allen is just one of the many teams/posters gave up on and said he didn't have much left in the tank.  They were wrong about him, and they can be wrong about a role player like Battier.  Especially since Battier doesn't log as many minutes as a Ray Allen.

If Memphis can stop Westbrook drives they can win this game. Conley is too small to guard him by himself. I'm interested to see the adjustment Coach Lionel Hollins makes.
