This is freakin crazy

ESPN Stats & Info: Coming into today, Durant shooting 23.1 percent when guarded by Tony Allen (and that's probably even worse now)

http://twitter.com/#!/RoyceWebb

That's even better than when he did this to Kobe in the finals last year.

Quote
According to ESPN Stats & Information, Bryant is now just 5-for-19 (26.6 percent) in the Finals with Tony Allen as the Celtics' primary defender on him. Even when he doesn't cause Bryant to miss a shot, he deters him from even taking one. In the 73 possessions that Allen has guarded him this series, Kobe has touched the ball 79.5 percent of the time. In the 234 possessions when it's been somebody other than Allen checking Kobe, Bryant has touched the ball 88 percent of the time.

All 19 shot attempts by Bryant against Allen have been with a hand in his face too, while he's been able to get off eight uncontested looks against the rest of the Celtics' crew.

Memphis has played spectacular but I feel that what Kenny said is right. At one point they're going to show why they were an 8th seed. Just hasn't happened yet... I don't think they can make it to the finals but Conference finals? Maybe!
You mean starting Mayo over TA?

For some reason I don't think they're gonna show us that.

Anyone know what channel the next Grizzlies v. OKC game is? My TV won't show anything, and I want to DVR it.

Tony Allen has become a defensive beast. As for Z-BO wow I always knew he had the talent but now he's showing everyone what he can be. Rudy Gay and Z-Bo will be a great combination when Rudy is back

I couldn't put my finger on it but felt something was missing from this year's playoofs.  Then I realized, the lakers are down and phil hasn't complained about the officiating.  Well, order has been restored to the universe:

Phil Jackson has tried to get Pau Gasol to play through referees’ calls or non-calls instead of dwelling on them.

Jackson, though, jumped to the other side Saturday before Lakers’ practice, complaining about Dallas defenders using a raised knee to Gasol’s backside to prevent him from getting deep post position — without drawing foul calls.

Jackson said the Lakers were “resigned” to not getting the calls and settling for Gasol to play more face-up offense.

“We didn’t complain about it against New Orleans, but the Mavs are doing the same [dang]ed thing,” Jackson said. “Until the league goes back to the rules that they have about playing post play, Pau’s got to move out and face the basket.”

Expect Dallas' bigs in early foul trouble today.

The Grizzlies are a great team, no doubt. But the Thunder were leading game 3 most of the time. They only started losing their lead once Westbrook turned into that selfish ball hogger that he frequently turns into during the fourth quarter. This really must be stopped. Durant was getting defended well by TA, but there were times where Westbrook waived him off. That should not happen to the league's leading scorer. I hope the Thunder do not lose this series due to Westbrook's poor decisions.

There is a hint of nervousness in Lakers shots/play. Dallas leads 14-11.

I can't wait until the lakers start arguing with each other soon, especially when Phil and Kobe will chew out everyone else before today's game and the series are over.

Getting that last game in a sweep is so tough. I like the odds tonight though. The Mavs need to stay focused and not let up if no matter the score.

The Lakers don't look good. They look like a beaten team. Mentally.

Not enough confidence / self belief. Not enough intensity. Resigned to losing. That things are beyond their control and that they'll be what they'll be. That it is already over. Just finishing out the clock.
