Before this series I was sure the Magic would be the tougher match up for the Bulls in the 2nd round...

Now I'm not so sure anymore...

What do you think about the Hawks chances against the Bulls?

Not optimistic about the Hawks chances. I think the Bulls would make fairly short work of them.

Hawks are not a great team.

The Magic are too reliant on the 3-pt shot. They are capable of upsetting any team. Beat us in 2009 (we were still a better team without KG) and the Cavs in 2010.

They may not even get the chance to upset a team this year. D12 can only do so much.

Feast or famine. The saying is you live and die by the three.

They may come back against the Hawks because they are just as unpredictable, but it will end there IMO.

Big charge drawn by Jason Collins.

Atlanta responding well here. Hopefully they can keep it up.

nobody thought the pacers would play this well against the bulls, so who knows maybe atlanta could make them work

  • GOT IT!!!
I think Orlando would give the Bulls a better series than Hawks would. Bulls defense will extend and shut the Hawks down.

I'm not very optimistic either, but if Horford and Johnson play great and they get good production out of Smith and Crawford they are a tough team to handle...
Then again I don't see them handling Rose in any way...

Dwight Howard has had a tremendous series.

It's a pity his performances have been overshadowed by his teammates failures.

Kirk Hinrich's defense on Derrick Rose is one of the only things I like about that series for Atlanta.

If I was Atlanta, I think I would stay big and keep Jason Collins in the starting lineup against Chicago. Give more size and length in the paint and on the wing to provide better help defense on Rose's drives.

I think that's a good assesment of the Magic...

Plus Howard is gonna be tough for the Bulls on both ends of the floor...

I just can't remember watching the Magic and thinking that they're a great team...
Seems like they've fallen of more than just a bit, which is a bit of a shame

Before this series I would've said Orlando has the better chance, but Orlando looks weak out there. Also, I feel like the Bulls could get Howard in foul trouble. I want anyone to beat the "almighty" Bulls so badly! However, I don't think either team could beat them.

True, but they have noone else and their interior defense isn't convincing to me...

Is it just me or have Orlando completely gone away from Gilbert Arenas since Jameer Nelson checked back in?

Too much Turkoglu down the stretch. Josh Smith is a very tough defender for Hedo.

Haha ... oh boy, awful possession by Atlanta.

What were thinking on that clearout for Jamal Crawford. He had nowhere to go with Dwight Howard shunting over to the strong side of the paint and dissuading any drive to the rim. That was always going to turn into a low percentage highly contested jumper off the dribble. Ugly play.

And then Horford with that horrible off balance jumper six, maybe eight, feet from the rim that didn't even draw iron. Ugh ...
