where was the sportsmanship from the heat? Lebron and Wade just walked straight to the locker room without shacking hands from what I could see.

Chris Bosh covering his face up on the way to the locker room.  Perfect.

Watching the Heat lose was so good it almost feels like vindication for last year.  Almost.  But not really.

NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!  The only thing that would have felt anything close to vindication would have been beating LA (preferably sweeping them).

None of the C's shook hands last year.  It goes both ways and I don't really blame them.  I would have walked off without shaking the other hands too myself.

Jackson basically blaming the "chips" the other guys instead of just stating what everyone knows.

Bosh is not a third banana and is a bad fit there

Wade and Lebron are great front runners but bad at coming back.

Wade and Lebron are way too individualized on offense and "me first" to possibly thrive on the same team.

You're acting like they have to blow it up Nick.  Depending on what the new CBA looks like if it is like the one we currently have sign a big or a point with the MLE and a decent pg and they'll be in great shape for another run unfortunately.

I mean that is kind of the point though isn't it? In all likelyhood these cap loopholes are going to be closed because they are part of the reason the league has problems. You have teams like Milwaukee that can't afford to use these exceptions every year where as Miami can sign a bunch of guys year long and add a 5 million player every year. I think they would be the most screwed over team in the new cba with their money all tied up to 5 players (haslem and miller) plus nothing resembling a center and an iffy pg situation (chalmers could be ok). They are definitely not in awful shape, few teams are after a finals run, but the people that are saying they are great shape seem to ignore the potential negative impact a new cba will have on them.

Yeah, for sure.  I don't care what anyone says about the guy, but I've always liked him.  Congrats to him.

I would have taken Bosh at minus 300 on that myself...

Miami will come back from this and win a few titles.

Two years in a row now that LeBron has struggled in big games. Strange. He was so good in big games in the years prior to that. Leading the Cavs over Detroit and to the Finals. Battling the Celtics valiantly the next year. A terrific performance against Orlando the year after.

I think he'll recover from this and go on to have some great performances in the future.
