i hate both these teams in the finals. Least excited I have been for a finals since I don't know when Maybe one of the san antonio series... I know people are starting to like him but I still think Dirk is a word I can't type here. Lebron Wade and Bosh make me want to vomit. Sigh disappointing playoffs.....
So, where did that Dirk hatred come from? :)

Mine got taken away this season. I hated him mainly because of him having my name :p

... which didn't make sense in the first place lol!

KD will have his time. He needs a better supporting cast around him though. Lebron couldn't do it by himself, and it's certainly the same thing with Durant. With that said, I hope Dallas wins it all this year!

Let's go Mavs... Screw Miami. I hope Dirk embarrasses Bosh and the rest of that team.

Dallas in the finals. 8)
Yes now their next challenge will be tough as heck, but I know and think they overcome it and win. I'm so proud of that team and what they've accomplished being the underdogs. They're the only non Celtics team I have been rooting for.

Sidenote, but the media still won't give them their respect. They tried to make fun of Terry and his comment about how most of that team has had playoffs struggles and how they came and joined together in a unique way to overcome and accomplish something none of them never have.

It's just amazing how the Mavs finish games.  They did it to us twice too.  I mean, a lot of it has to do with the way Dirk gets all the calls (Durant goes to the basket in the final minutes, gets mugged, no call; Dirk makes a play, gets touched, maybe, or not even, straight to the line), but even so, it's just amazing.

If you're talking about the play that Durant got stripped by Kidd, that looked like a clean steal to me. The biggest missed call was the blocking foul on Maynor that was clearly a charge.

Seven 4th quarter turnovers doomed the Thunder.

You just can't cough of the rock like that.

Going small, should mean that you have the advantage of proper ball handling etc.

This is partly his fault and partly not, but I hate the way the refs call his games. I really don't think he should ever get 24 foul shots in a game unless a player is being intentionally fouled (Like a Dwight Howard situation). That means there are probably 12 shooting fouls called on the guy, plus how ever many fouls are called in non-shooting situation.  The part that comes in against him is that he does flop and go absolutely nuts when he does not get a call. He is an incredible shooter, but I think the fact that if you play physical with him at all he is getting sent in for an automatic trip to the line makes it a bit stupid. I don't think that foul at the end of regulation in game 4 should have been called in his favor and that was kind of indictative of how games go their way. The whole thing just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Yea OKC made a ton of mistakes and deserved to lose the series, but they probably would have got one of these two games and also had a few less "turnovers" if the game was being called fairly.
All that being said I have the same problem with the Heat and free throw line, and 50 other problems (and eddie house ain't one), so I will definitely help Dallas wins. I am extremely bitter about the NBA right now with the celtics loss, so i admit that, but it does seem like more of a parade to the free throw line at the moment than basketball....

After people are able to sleep on this I think we'll hear less "trade Westbrook" talk as people realize that the Thunder are way ahead of schedule and playoff dissapointments have to happen to a team this young. The key to their success is Harden. Harden can become Ginobili to Westbrook's Parker. If you think about it the similarities between the Thunder and the old Spurs dynasty are pretty striking.

Some OKC fans want Westbrook out. They're sitting there wondering can they get Rondo. They think he can help the team and Durant out a lot.

Westbrook is essential for the THunder and for Durant.

Think about Westbrook's mentality and Durants.

Almost polar opposites....they need each other to balance out.

If you and Rondo or another player which brings less scoring...the Thunder are going to be in even a bigger hole.

Why is Harden so important for the Thunder....he's another offensive threat who not only can hit from long range, but can make plays.

Durant needs less pressure on him, not more.

I never agreed with that. OKC fans are the ones mad at Westbrook especially after the tech and then him not congratualting the Mavs. Westbrook messed himself up badly in this playoffs this year. People think he's
immature
ball hog
cocky
and overall not a person who wants to help Durant.
Truthfully Durant and Russell need a little of both personalities from one another. Durant needs to take over his team and reclaim his throne and not let Westbrook steal or snatch it from him.
Russell needs to play as a point guard a pass first and shoot second not above Durant point guard. He doesn't have to be the first one on offense, he has the freakin scoring champion on his team just pass the darn ball. Is it that hard?
