John Ireland reported to espn"First Take"this morning besides A.Bynum not making the road trip to play tonite aganist the Kings and Steve Blake still out with the chicken poxs,he tossed another potential problem cropping up down the road up for Lakers fans,Kobe,R.Artest, and A.Bynum has never had chicken poxs in their lives...they could possibly become ill at some point is what he's insenuating. ;D

This is kinda funny. I've had the pox (twice, I think)...first time was the worst. I last had it about 15 or so years ago, in my mid-20s.

If they caught it, they won't die of course, but boy they'd be "inoperative" for a week or two.

Their case may be different...just basing my guess on how it affected me when I caught it.

Exactly what J.Ireland was trying to convey to everyone, those three players could possibly become "inorperative"for the playoffs or at least a portion of it.tp

It's officially a bone bruise. Much respect for those wishing health, I wish the same to the Celtics.

Apparently Popovich told Blair to sweep Bynum's leg, though...

So LakerFan_33 - does this mean that Bynum will be ok by the time June comes around? I hope so.

Funny vid by Pop, too.

There will always be an excuse when you lose. Ditto for us when we lost last year. Don't think having Perk would have made Ray hit his shots though.

I honestly think that LA is more in danger of Perk wanting to go WWF again on Kobe in a potential playoff matchup:

After all, didn't Karl Malone do a little rasslin' in his career, too? And he played for the Lakers, too. ;D

Well, that's the plan, but nothing is set in stone. The West is very tough this year. Oklahoma will be a huge challenge if they don't get taken out earlier on. They remind me of Sacramento and Portland in the 2000-2002 title runs. Those teams were huge challenges. Once they were beat, it was obvious that the Lakers would run through the Eastern Conference.

Not saying the East will be a walk through, like it was in the 2000's, but match-up wise, OKC is a huge challenge.

I didn't think anyone was mentioning that 2002 Sacramento series ever again.   :P

Who cares about that. Just dont listen to em. Besides, they already make excuses about how they didnt have bynum in 08. And do you really think lakers fans enjoy their titles any less when we bring up KG and his knee?
