The Lakers are due for some bad luck, honestly.  So I won't feel bad at all if this keeps Bynum out or hobbles him for the playoffs.

I agree to some extent. Bynum has more than his fair share of injuries though.

Had this happened to a Celtic some faker fans would be celebrating which is truly sad.

yeah, ill bet anything a large contingent of lakers fans were cheering when shaq got injured again

Phil Jackson just said in an interview that Bynum told him that he's gonna be "Okay".

Doesn't sound too serious I guess, but they won't know until the MRI.
Celtics' turn on switch for the playoffs: the last bastion of hope for battered Celtic fans.

idk if anyone is watching but kobe just got a tech and clearly used a homophobic slur that starts with an F right at a ref on camera, at the top of his lungs.

yeah, kobe is a classy guy.  he should get ejected and fined for that, honestly.

With that one, I think Kobe is 1 or 2 techs away from a suspension.

Hopefully, he'll get upset at Demarcus Cousins or someone tomorrow...get another one...and then get one more in the first round...couple that with Bynum potentially being out.

Kobe better cool it.

The technicals don't carry over to the playoffs, so if Kobe picks up one more next game, he'll miss the first game of next season, rather than the playoffs.

From my very untrained eye...it looked a lot closer to Krstic's knee injury than to the thing Tony Allen did a few years ago on the dunk after the whistle. I hope he's all right...don't want Lakers to have an excuse for getting knocked out this year and I would never hope someone gets hurt.
Meh, I honestly view Bynum as one of the guys who's always going to get dinged during the year. He's never had a healthy season that I can recall.

Ah..thanks. :) Was kinda hoping to see him sit out one, though.

True...if they get knocked out with or without him, I will celebrate equally.

I hope he is OK. Even though he is a Laker, I've grown fond of the young fella. Soldiering through the playoffs last season with one leg was admirable.
i gotta say, he went for it last year with that messed up knee...this year the lakers will need him at full strength IF they make it to the finals to play the Celts/Heat/Chicago...i think the lakers are toast in their own conference if he can't play at darn near 100%

With or without Bynum the Lakers will be a breeze after Miami and Chicago.  I'm still half-expecting to see the Spurs.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Number of technical fouls restarts once playoffs start. He'll need 7 to get suspended in playoffs. He might get suspended next season's first game if he gets one more ;)

Considering that we have never beaten the Lakers at full strength, I would definitely like Bynum to be healthy for the Finals if both teams make it. Laker or not, definitely don't wish any sort of injury on him.

John Ireland reported to espn"First Take"this morning besides A.Bynum not making the road trip to play tonite aganist the Kings and Steve Blake still out with the chickenpox,he tossed another potential problem cropping up down the road for Lakers fans,Kobe,R.Artest, and A.Bynum has never had the chickenpox in their lives...they could possibly become ill at some point is what J.Ireland was insenuating. ;D

I'd like to highlight this thread as an example of why you should use the report to moderator button instead of telling poster something is breaking the rules. Its likely to start an argument and drag the thread off-topic. We have a lot of night owls on the staff and we'll get to it pretty quick most of the time.
