idk if anyone is watching but kobe just got a tech and clearly used a homophobic slur that starts with an F right at a ref on camera, at the top of his lungs.
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

what exactley does it mean when a knee is "hyper extended"?

Greenfaith did a great job explaining.  It's essentially when your knee bends in the wrong way.  Youtube search "mcgahee knee injury" and think that but without the physical contact and not nearly as severe.

I use plenty of bad language in my personal life, but they really need to do something about that in all sports. You cant watch a baseball, football, hockey or basketball game without watching a lot of guys scream f this f that mother effer all day.

Celtics have been dealing with injuries all season, and so have most of the teams in the league.

I have no doubt the Lakers will "turn it on" during the playoffs but man oh man if Bynum is seriously injured they are in trouble.

Unfortunately for the Lakers, nobody is going to feel sorry for them, just like nobody feels sorry for us Celtics when we have a new injury every week.
exactley though i'd rather beat them with bynum because if we were to beat them without bynum it;ll just bring a whole bunch of excuses from LA if we were to make it that far
Kind of classless to wish a serious injury on any player - Just sayin'

Definitely classless to hope for serious injury.  At the same time, is it classless to wish misery on the Lakers organization and fanbase?  That's the conundrum I find myself in.

Here's how I've reconciled it:  I hope Bynum suffered no long-term damage, but I'll be perfectly content if he's limited or unavailable in the playoffs.

lol i like that someone's keepin it real. I mean, come on. After what happened to us in 09 Are we as c's fans really gonna hope this kid a speedy recovery? I for one am not. Injuries happen and I'd rather it happen to the lakers than to us
plus1, dude's just being honest he's a celtic fan i dont think he wants bymun's career to end of anything just want to wish the celtics maximum chances come playoff time

Is anyone really surprised tho? His injury history is like 3 pages long and he's 23, which is a shame because he's talented but that's the curse of being a fragile big man.

PS: Kristic had a similar injury (hyperextended knee)and he came back in a few days so it might be a scare for all we know, or not...

I hyperextended my knee one time, at first it felt like it was completely torn and/or broken, bout an hour later i was completely fine. Most of the pain went away after about 20 minutes.

Like Roy said, I hope he's ok in the long run, but if he's out for the playoffs I cant say I mind.

There's a better angle / closer up view that TNT showed after, but here's the original clip:

  • GOT IT!!!
The Lakers are due for some bad luck, honestly.  So I won't feel bad at all if this keeps Bynum out or hobbles him for the playoffs.

I agree to some extent. Bynum has more than his fair share of injuries though.

Had this happened to a Celtic some faker fans would be celebrating which is truly sad.

With that one, I think Kobe is 1 or 2 techs away from a suspension.

Hopefully, he'll get upset at Demarcus Cousins or someone tomorrow...get another one...and then get one more in the first round...couple that with Bynum potentially being out.

Kobe better cool it.
