I would love to have homecourt against Miami. They are the only team that I am concerned about homecourt with.

The Lakers I am not as concerned with. The Celtics have played them so many times over the past few years that I don't think homecourt makes any difference. They can win on Boston's home floor and Boston can win on their homecourt. Two highly experience veteran teams with Championship pedigree. I just don't see it being an issue.

Miami on the other hand are a less experienced team. First year together. No Championship experience outside of Wade. They also have several players who are excellent at drawing free throws who could benefit from some home-cooking. I think that having homecourt would give them a nice boost.

You are not concerned about Chicago?

Chicago is out of reach for homecourt. Too many games ahead. So that is already ruled out.

But yeah, I feel pretty comfortable about the Celtics ability to beat Chicago in a seven game series (if healthy). I don't see homecourt being a difference maker there.

Miami while they do not play at as consistently high a level as Chicago ... I think they are more dynamic and capable of upping their level of play to a very dangerous level ... If their stars and their shooters get hot at the wrong moment, they are going to be a very difficult opponent.

LA and Miami are the teams I am concerned with. Chicago, no.
