best tight end tandem ever?

It'd be tough to name another pair on par with these two.  Gronk's All-Pro potential and Hernandez is arguably Top 5.  Tough to beat.

Solid win.  Defense settled down after an awful 1st quarter.

Hernandez really stepped it up.  Brady was pretty solid back there.  Another 300 yard game.

One guy who I thought played really well that might not show up on the stat sheet is Kyle Love.  Along with Mark Anderson, those two really were able to get pressure at times and helped the defense calm down a bit.

Also thought the O-Line played real well with the exception of that one Brady takedown by Dumervill.  Von Miller was really a non-factor.

The excuses people are trying to make for Tim Tebow are unbelievable.

National coverage spent half an hour trying to convince anyone who cared that he had "great mechanic that should result in accurate throws".

Then they proceeded to make an about face and state that that he's only thrown two interceptions because he "prefers to err on the side of caution".

And after the game a random fan on Y!Sports concluded that "Tebow was just as good as Brady, he just didn't have Aaron Hernandez".

Please, stop the madness!

What I want to know is whether Tom Brady credited good team play. He's always shoving good team play down people's throats. I get it man. Good team play. Good coaching. You don't have to shove it down my throat Tom.

No, but Tebow just did.

has a tight end combo ever been used like this before?

SO glad we won't be hearing Tebow love for another week.

It's a rarity, I guess, since tight ends with Hernandez's running ability are not that common.

As SNL said last night via "Jesus" "if [Jesus is] the son of god, than Tom Brady must be his nephew."

Except for a couple of very long scrambles, one when the game was already over, the Pats defensive line did a great job of containing Tebow within the pocket when he went back to pass. Had it not been Tebow and it was a less physical NFL QB, the Pats might have had at least 4 more sacks than they did.

Hernandez had a great game.

Linebackers had an awful game.

Pats special teams shined.

Sounds like Andre Carter is going to need surgery.

That's a pretty significant blow to the Pats D.

That's a big blow, to a defense that is already hurting.
But, happy to have the W.
