are you freaking kidding me. a 7 footer averaging .3 blocks per 36 minutes. yeah, I'd take Semih over Murphy any day of the week actually.

I'll take the guy who hasn't been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

No kidding.  With all the discussion of who is and is not "walking through that door," I'll take pretty much anyone who can do so under their own power these days.  Pretty sad, but next to four all-stars, how powerful does the fifth superfriend need to be?

It's time for us to be honest about how far the Big Three have fallen off.  They're our Big Three and I love em all but none of them can't be counted on to carry the scoring burden conistently anymore.

I'm definitely not down on Murphy yet.  Some shots that he usually hits havn't gone down.  I havn't been dissappointed at all.  It's too bad he sprained that ankle when he did.

He's not a center but he's a decent player who can knock down long shots, rebound, and even pass a little bit.  He doesn't suck.  And he's way better than Erden at this point.

I spose they have only done it for 80% of the season this year?
Don't give up all hope just yet lol. Ray and Paul are having career years in a lot of fields.
have you seen KG's shooting coming out of this slump?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Like Pavlovic and Arroyo, I believe Murphy gives us insurance at the 4-5.  And given what we have (or better put haven't) seen from Shaq, we may well need to cash this policy in the POs.

While not ideal, a 5 man big rotation of JO-Krstic-Murphy-KG-Baby could get the job done.  While he's rusty as heck, Murphy can still be productive - he can score and rebound.  He's a weak defender, but hopefully could do a decent enough job against the 2nd string Bigs on the opposition.

In a perfect world, we don't see him at all in the POs....

I love them all and I know Pierce and Ray are having the most efficient seasons of careers...but the volume that each are able to handle has fallen.  Both are perfectly capable of taking over a game, but I said you can't COUNT on them to show up consistently.  We have seen a lot of single digit scoring games from each of the three this season
