But the Celtics age is really showing. They get too tired in the 4th quarters and can't score anymore, just like in game 7 of the finals.
Looks like these Celtics will be remembered like the Detroit Pistons of a few years ago.
I hate being such a drama queen, anyone can prove me otherwise?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure we're going to be remembered like the '04 Pistons. I guess there are worse comparisons that could be made. But this will always be the team that was good enough to get one but not good enough to be a dynasty. We had opportunities, but the truth is the Big 3 got together just a bit too late in their careers to win multiple times.
Not to mention the fact that Chris Wallace made one of the worst trades in the history of the NBA and shifted the balance of power in the NBA for years to come. The Lakers were pretty much guaranteed to win multiple championships once they got Gasol without giving up any meaningful pieces.
So, my question to both of you is - based off of what you see - are the Celtics done this year?
I already know what my answer is.
Absolutely not, they aren't done until they exit from the playoffs.
But there are a LOT of red flags popping up lately, and it's very concerning.
Welcome to the club

.
I saw a lot of red flags last year at this time, too.
I honestly believed that last season's playoffs were the most challenging I watched as a Celtics Fan. But with each win vs CLE, then ORL, and then LA - oh so close, our Celtics.
April 17 is coming. Boston is primed for another nice, long run to June. To me, it doesn't matter what we see right now.
The games
must be played - and that is the beauty of it.
