He was buried on the bench in OKC, then came over as an afterthought in the trade for Jeff Green.

He was a starter, he started the 47 games he played for them this season.

Murphy in shape is a much better rebounder than Krstic, a fairly more efficient scorer, a much better passer and ball mover and a relatively worse defender (Krstic is bad, Murphy is awful). Plus, he can spread the floor. If he's in good form, he'll get the nod.

Hopefully, none of them has to play except in garbage time.

Thanks for the correction.  I'm slightly embarrassed by my inaccuracy, but I still prefer Nenad to Murphy.

C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Hurry back, Nenad. I hope it's not serious. We need every big we can get.

Troy Murphy can do a quality job as the C's third string center if Nenad Krstic is out for the playoffs.

I thought he was starting to figure things out a little the last game he played. Not playing great, but having a decent idea of where to be and when to be there.

I want to agree with that, as I feel we got him for insurance...just not really at Center, but I guess he gives us more height and if he can come around, possibly better rebounding than Baby?

He looked like he was in too much pain for an Acl tear...they usually appear innocuous injuries that don't hurt much initially.

Maybe just a bad buckle.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

I'm about as tired of the injury updates to this team by now as I am of the snow, but hopefully they should be both gone in a week or two.

I agree.  I certainly think he can bring as much, or more than Erden brought.

He struggled at first with conditioning, and figuring out the system, but as he started to get more comfortable, he looked servicable, and I think there was reason to believe he would continue to improve.

Unfortunately, like all of our centers, he is a major injury risk.  So, keeping him on the floor long enough to get comfortable may be an issue.

Edit: Get well soon Nenad, we need you to win the title.

Say what you want and mean. Own it. Don't let your opinions and feelings get pushed around. You didn't break any rules.

Which is really 5th in the depth chart in the position. Behind Shaq, JO, KG, Davis.

Do you really want BBD playing center over Murphy? Let BBD and Murphy play alongside each other...

Depends. Against Howard for example, yes. And I really don't envision many scenarios at the moment in which Murphy would be better on the floor than Davis.
