Those of you, who critize him: Did you see how he had picked up on the defense tonight? He would be very useful to us, both right now and as a sub, when the other bigs get in foul trouble. I hope it's not to serious, but it looked pretty bad :(

I agree. Nenad was having a good game tonight, I feel real bad for him. I hope he can come back quickly. He would definitely get some minutes even with both O'Neals back.

Perhaps this will force Doc to go small more often with KG at the 5 and Green at the 4.  That can only help us, I think.

We have to hope that Troy Murphy can get healthy enough to give us more than Shelden Williams did last year.

Yeah, I think Murphy is going to need to be a part of the equation if Nenad is out.  If he can get healthy, and continue to get comfortable in the system, he could be a decent 12th man.  He is not much of a defender, but he can stretch the defense, he is a very good rebounder, and he can use his 6 fouls.

I also agree that Green will continue to see more minutes at the 4.  He had one of his better games as a celtic tonight, and much of that was at the 4.

Could care less what it is honestly, he sucks and shouldnt have been playing during the playoffs either way.

Get well soon Nenad, you wont be missed.

It doesn't hurt to be a little nicer does it?  Nenad had his ups and downs but he's still a Celtic.

No matter what you think of Nenad, his injury isn't "nothing."  Even if JO and Shaq are everything we want them to be, we're going to need a 3rd center, even for spot minutes.  And Nenad--again, no matter what you think of him--would be a very good 3rd string center.

Agreed. He is better then Shelden Williams was. If he is out for the year though. I think you got to cut him. You cant risk overplaying guys at this point.

Having just watched that again on a youtube clip, it really didn't look that bad.  Hoping it's a minor sprain.

Yeah, I am not sure why the announcers thought it looked so bad.  It just looked like a hyperextension to me.

Obviously, it is tough to tell from that, but they were talking about it like it was Livingston's knee injury or something.

Nenad Krstic scheduled for MRI on Saturday in Boston; clearly out for this weekend and likely beyond.

cool trade bro....
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I don't like seeing anybody injured, but simply in terms of his play lately, he hasn't given us much.  I think if Troy can come back and get in some kind of game shape, he'll easily equal what Krstic was doing.  Wonder when Murphy is due back, and hoping that Krstic will be back soon.  It didn't look that bad to me.  Not nearly the degree of "buckle" that the announcers were making it out to be.

The injury isn't that serious. Watch the video again - after his knee buckles, he steps with his left foot and then plants with all his weight on his right knee again(the one that buckled) and he doesn't even wince - and, the knee doesn't buckle again either. It's not that serious, they will say it's a slight sprain.

He'll be out for a week and then be back. And that's good because we need him. We need every big body we can get.

It didn't look all that bad, but everyone seems to be thinking the worst.  We'll see.  Either way our center position is being held together with scotch tape and rubber bands.

When's Murphy coming back?

****.

It didn't seem that bad, but he was exhibiting a lot of pain.

Fingers crossed.
