Davis is too important to our team.

Outside of KG, which other "healthy big" do we have left that really knows all of our offensive sets and defensive rotations?

Tonight when KG got into early (BS) foul trouble...it was Baby who stepped in and stepped up.

People who got really hard on Baby for giving up points to Tim Duncan need to chill out.

It's freaking Tim Duncan.

Two thoughts:

1) If Jermaine continues to progress, I wouldn't be surprised to see him close at least some games out.  He can hit jumpers, free throws, and obviously has the size and defense that BBD doesn't.

2) That aside, it was really Doc/KG's fault.  Why wasn't KG on Duncan?  They're exactly the same size.  In fact, KG is taller and perhaps even thicker.  Putting the 6-6 Davis on hims is just silly.

It's freaking 86 year old Tim Duncan.

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Absolutely ... very poor assignment, and my biggest complaint about tonight's game ... KG should have been on Duncan. It was extremely unfair and poor judgement to expect Glen to be effective at one-on-one defense on Timmy. Big Baby was awesome tonight, and was given an assignment he should not have been given.

I'm glad Mike Fratello respects Baby (his six man vote), unlike most on this site.

Hard to argue with 18 points, but i really with he could figure out how to properly rebound on the defensive end. For a period of time DeJuan Blair was just owning him on the glass.

Glen Davis on Duncan was a tough matchup, but maybe they had Garnett on the other big because he's more reliable on the pick and roll? Either way it worked out fine.

And as a bonus Jermaine O'Neal provided a nice road block in front of the hoop for 12 minutes. I'd like to see it for about 20 minutes cause it was a beautiful sight.

To be fair, about more than half of the offensive rebounds by the Spurs were from long 3 point misses.

The other rebounds (half of them) were over the back fouls on Blair and McDyess.

Glen Davis p---es me off solely because of his lack of a willingness to pass. The ball more often than not get stuck once it gets in his hands. He does everything else relatively well and hustles all the time, but he just kills are offense when the ball stops moving at him.

If he is shooting too much, how is the ball stopped moving?

Baby is a good system player in a system that allows good role players to shine. There are plenty of better players than him out there. Baby for Bass, anyone?

You're not getting Bass for Baby, so just stop. No one is giving up a better player for Baby, you'll have to give up more than Baby and then it won't be worth it.
