Disagree, Monk. I can't agree the other bench players are effective or ever have hot hands

I didn't say our bench players have "hot hands". You'd said

He's been pretty effective when his hands are hot.

That's true for every player..if he has the hot hand he will score and be effective in some capacity.

Glen Davis simply hasn't been the problem this year; Rondo has. Sure, Davis can chuck a little bit out there, but most of the time his hustle is a great asset to the team.

Wow, ejplaya, I'm not even sure this deserves a reply but I will tell you to look 2 posts up and see that I do think baby has flaws, as all players do.

Your comment being that he may need to learn to pass more?! That's the best that you can come up with?! That's your criticism of the guy?!

Fess up. You are BBD's mom, aren't you?! Only she could overlook the HUGE holes he has in his game. The horrible finishing around the rim. The poor shooting even when he is taking shots "inside his range". The mediocre rebounding, the mediocre free throw shooting. The lack of vertical that makes him a non-existent shot blocker and a player who gets his shot sent back very often.

The guy hustles and brings energy. He plays solid low post defense against some big bodies. He draws a charge quite often. (although not often lately) He can get hot once in a while. That's his strength. He has a lot more flaws than strengths though even though you aren't willing to admit it. He's just not that good.

  • Rondo = Good

Yeah.  I have no problem with how Glen Davis played tonight.  At times he gets shot happy, but he shouldn't be getting the ball as much as he does; it's the fault of Rondo or the offense in general that he is the only guy open.

Now as a poster, i mentioned it b4
baby is what he is
as some pointed servicable doing some things and not
that good doing others
During playoffs he should be rounding borderline of our
rotation, because we all have to admitt from time to time
he have good games and what he brongs is usefull
but sometimes not
thats the whole deal with him
Game  b4 this i saw him playing very unselfish basketball with unit one
then not.
its tough
but this team have enough talent, and i had said it b4 to make him a 10th to ||th rotation player
and thats bordeline out of playoffs
we will see

One more reply then I'm off to dreamland after a sad evening.

Baby will be a big part of our playoff roster as he has been our 6th man all year.

Nuff said. Goodnight All and let's hope Sunday is a winner.

My head's dizzy with all the players being blamed.

In one topic, it's Rondo.

In others, it's Krstic "regressing to his mean".

In this one, it's Big Baby and being "all set" with him.

Ugh, really?

p.s.2. heres how it works, u do  a bad thing at work and clients will be mad, and sad, we are Cs players clients and theyre not
doing their job as they are supposed to.
After all isnt that their jobs.
I will put this kind of stupid example to point how this is
they have to play better

Yet another stinker! Stop shooting for goodness sake. Come on Doc. More Jeff Green and MUCH LESS BBD...

Baby played pretty solid D tonight and stay for Darko pretty nicely in the 4th. I can't complain too much.

Yeah... Darko scored 6 pts and 4 boards over his average on 60% shooting out there. BBD was fantastic defensively...

BBD stinked pretty bad tonight indeed

Right now the lack of options is keeping him late on the games after catastrofic nights
personally i think Doc can try with green there when BBD is strugling that much, even kristic .
but knowing the system is keeping him there more than his performance during the game

I love Baby, but I agree, he sucked tonight.  Right now defenses aren't respecting his jump shot at all, which would be great if he was making them, but he is not.  I still say Baby is a winner and come playoff time, he will be there.
