Delonte is fine.
He played like a beast his first game back against the Clippers before the ankle sprain.
Whats funny is that hes still a better shooter then Rondo with a broken wrist.
That to me is hilarious, even if it isnt his shooting hand.
You would think Rondo would pull motivation to work on his shot from these things, but he doesent.
Wait...why have we moved to assuming Rondo doesn't practice his shot, again?
Because if he did he wouldnt be airballing wide open jumpshots during games.
Such a tired and lame explanation.
How on earth do you think he would earn respect on this team if he didn't work at a glaring weakness in his game? multiple reports/articles say he does, so do teammates.
The simple fact is, some people suck at shooting. I know we all like to tell ourselves that if we made millions of dollars and our only concern was basketball and we practiced the ridiculous amounts these guys do we'd all be ray Allen, and failure to achieve at least a average NBA jumper is a sign of disinterest/laziness on the part of a player but it just isn't true.
Jason Kidd is, from all accounts, one of the true gym rats of the game, and it took him ten years to develop ONE set shot that teams have to fear, that three from slightly off line at the top of the key.
Do you think his inability to shoot is because he's
A) Lazy and never practices, despite all reports
or
B) linked to the fact that his ceiling is "not very good" as a shooter
