I'd go with Arroyo so DWest can get used to running the second unit.  Give Pavlovic a little longer to prove himself and see if he can take Wafer's minutes when he comes back.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I'm sorry but if Murphy rounds into shape he will not sit in the playoffs! If you remember Murphy was the most coveted pickup for us after the trade... you don't sit a guy that can get you the rebounds and offense Murphy can give you. Rebounds are crucial in the playoffs as you know from last season... if healthy/in shape count on Murphy to snatch some for you... bigs are imperative when we face the best teams! I know Murphy has been pretty bad but last night he seemed to be on the road to rounding back into form... don't underestimate what Murphy CAN provide for us. I believe Wafer, Bradley, and maybe JO will be the odd men out... and JO may ease in if he's healthy leaving Arroyo out if West is healthy b/c West can handle and is a defensive beast... Arroyo is not! I see Arroyo in though if he continues on the good path he is now but only if there are injuries b/c he is known to be a liability on D and Doc/Cs are all about D! To be honest, I think the guys who will play will probably depend on series. Can you interchange players between games or is it just between series? Either way, I feel it will be situational.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

The Celtics will most likely go with a four man big rotation in the playoffs with a 5th big on the bench but seeing only emergency action.

So, even if JO is not able to suit up, who does Murphy replace?

Shaq, KG, Krstic, and Baby will all play ahead of him, in my opinion.  At full health, I don't see Murphy getting significant time in the post season.  Having said that, I do think he needs to round into shape and help us out down the stretch of the regular season considering our injury problems.

If we're still completely sans O'Neals come playoff time, we could be in it pretty deep.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I just want Murphy to play well enough that Doc would trust him enough to have no hesitation about yanking Big Baby from a close game if Glen Davis decides to take a stupid three.

Have Green for that as well.  I think (depending on the matchup), once he gets more comfortable the system, Doc will feel very comfortable playing Green at PF down the stretch.

This thread says a lot about our team. We have a team loaded with talent.
Doc has to be envied by many coaches around the league.

Is it April yet...
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Hopefully we can spread the minutes out pretty deeply over the next few weeks, get the starters some rest, and let the bench guys get their legs/acclamation.

Rotation for the playoffs is the real story - and that should be interesting assuming we're playing at least as many cards as we have now (Shaq? JO? Wafer?)

Hopefully the bench guys will seize the opportunity to compete for the spots until the end of the season and play well enough to give Doc the luxury of keeping the starters under 30 minutes a night.
Yup

hello everyone, i'm new here since Arroyo signed.

What is the status of J'Oneal?
Is he expected to be back before the playoffs?

What about Bradley? I can't see any good thing in the last 3 previous games...poor defense, poor offense...i think he is one of the players with less minutes, if any at all, in West return and I agree with some of you that West should play some SG position with Arroyo in PG to give the starters more time to rest.If Arroyo keep playing good then Doc should consider him to the playoffs but i know will be very difficult with a 12 players roster.

Quick question: The 12 players for the playoffs can be changed during the series?

With West back who sits?

It wouldn't surprise me if it's West himself who sits.

Arroyo looks like a real PG and I think he'll get the backup PG minutes.  IMHO, it depends on how quick West gets back.  He wasn't that sharp the few games he was back.  If he isn't up to speed quickly I can see Paul spending more time at 2 guard and Green getting the bulk of the minutes backing up Paul.

Yes, pinzon, the 12 man rotation can be changed from game to game in the playoffs.

JO's status is a mystery. Danny & Doc have said they expect he'll be back from the playoffs, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Avery Bradley is what he is, a 19 year old rookie. I don't expect him to see minutes in the playoffs.

When they made the trades Ainge said JO would be back, but I really don't expect to see him back (and if we do, I don't expect him to contribute much for long)

Bradley's only been playing because of all of the injuries. He's nowhere near ready as an NBA player.  Arroyo gets minutes if he can earn them from Delonte (assuming Delonte can keep himself on the court)

Pretty sure they can change the rosters on a nightly basis, just like the regular season.

...and WELCOME!
Yup

No.

What games were you watching for real?   Yes West wasn't very good offensively in his first game back against the warriors, but he was good against the Nuggetts and excellent against the Clippers. In the game against the Warriors he still did a solid job guarding Acie Law/Monte Ellis with the 2nd unit, but he only played 12 minutes.

He is going to play if he is healthy.  He'll play 15-30 minutes depending on the situations. If Delonte is healthy, Arroyo will only play if Rondo(knock on wood) gets injured.

I don't think Paul would be the so called 2guard defensively in the scenario.  I think Jeff Green would have to guard the 2guard position.

You forgot 1 option:  West.

When West is back I'd prefer it if he sits.
